What patients say on Google

“I wish I could leave less than one star, but this will have to do. I was referred to this clinic a month ago and after not hearing anything back, I finally called to see what's going on and was told they cannot currently see me. With absolutely no email, no call, nothing. And now I am in a bind with my medications and have to find someone else ASAP because there was absolutely no communication on their part. Had they contacted me and I'd known sooner, this could've been prevented. Putting someone's mental health in a bind because of no communication is so unprofessional.”

“My son was has been Dr. Saran patient since. He was 5 and still does . Now my nonverbal autistic daughter is his patient as well. He is patient, courteous, professional and very detailed when giving information. He offers video appointments as well. Which is so convenient when you have a child that is self injurious, won’t sit for long or ADHD. It helps to be in your own setting . He’s a great doctor listens and cares about his patients.”

“I have been seeing a PA here for about 7 months, and it has been the best experience I have ever had in my life with a psychiatrist. Before coming to the Women & Children's Center for Mental Wellness, I had over 20yrs of mostly bad experiences with Psychiatry, and was all but hopeless about finding anyone who was actually helpful, let alone empathetic and respectful. Cindy Hunter has been pretty much a miracle to me. Her evaluation was thorough, not rushed, and her interactions with me have never been anything other than respectful. She is attentive, compassionate, and solutions-oriented. She started me on a med I had never tried before, and it has been one of the few things I've ever truly had a good response to. The side effects are few, and where they do exist, she has worked with me to monitor the situation and find solutions to improve my experience where possible. The office is clean, quiet, and well-kept, and I have never waited for any extensive amount of time to be seen. The receptionist is friendly and accommodating, and appointments are made and adjusted quickly and with ease. I have had to reschedule a couple of times, and I have never experienced any difficulty. When I have had to call the office for any reason, calls have typically been answered the first time; however, when I *have* had to leave a voicemail, someone typically returns my call very promptly. I have never had any issues or confusion with getting my prescriptions or anything of that matter. All in all, my experience here has been overwhelmingly positive, and it has definitely been a step forward for me in not only my mental health but also my overall wellness. I highly recommend the Women & Children's Center for Mental Wellness.”
