What patients say on Google

“I was seeing Diane Annalett, M.D for years until this past Monday. She knew that I haven't been able to work since 2003 due to severe anxiety but still filled out a form from social services saying that it's "unknown" if I am able to work, so now my food assistance is being discontinued. When I called her to talk about it, she gave me a ridiculous excuse as to why she thinks I can work. She obviously doesn't listen to & does not care about her patients. When I told her to cancel my upcoming appointment & that I was no longer going to see her anymore, she hung up on me. She's very unprofessional & judgemental. I am filing a formal complaint about her to Albany.”

“It's nice to know that money is more important than a person's mental health, I even set up a payment arrangement, but they said it wasn't enough money, pretty sad , my insurance says that I have to pay $35 to see a specialist , I even tried contacting them again and they didn't want anything to do with me! This place should be shut down, for cruelty to patients.”

“I have been a patient of this practice since November 2022, first in person in NY and then via telehealth after moving to Colorado in October 2023, over 3.5 years of continuous care. A few weeks ago, I received an informal phone call just 10 minutes before a scheduled psychiatric appointment informing me that I could no longer be seen due to a sudden change in the practice’s telehealth policy for out-of-state patients. A service they had been providing to me for the past 2.5 years. A TEN MINUTE NOTICE. There was no advance notice, no written notice, no transition plan, no alternative options for care, and no grace period—just an abrupt cutoff of care. This left me without psychiatric support during an active mental health crisis that I was on a leave of absence for. I was forced to scramble to find a new psychiatrist under urgent circumstances, while also trying to secure a provider to complete required psychiatric documentation for my disability leave that this office was providing. This created extreme distress during an active mental health crisis when I urgently needed psychiatric care. Healthcare providers have a fundamental responsibility to care for their patients, especially during a mental health crisis, and to ensure continuity of care. That responsibility was completely disregarded here. I made multiple attempts to contact the office to request a short grace period while I worked to find a new provider and to ensure continuity of care during my mental health crisis. This included several calls, voicemails, and multiple portal messages. I received no response whatsoever. Abruptly discontinuing psychiatric care in this manner raises serious concerns about patient abandonment. This situation reflects a complete breakdown in patient care standards and a disregard for patient safety. Patients, especially those receiving mental health treatment, should not be treated as disposable when it becomes inconvenient for a practice. I strongly caution others when considering this office.”

“My daughter and I have been going to Williamsville for several years now. Both of our medicine managers are great. However, the counselor my daughter experienced was not really interested in addressing my daughter's condition. After one visit, my daughter told me she did not want to go back.”
