“Dr. Taggart worked with my family for 8 years. Initially we took our son, Aaron, who was 7 at the time for a diagnosis through the school system. Once he was diagnosed, we stayed with Dr. Taggart for therapy and med management. Dr. Taggart also provided us with family support as well as continued support and education with the school system throughout the years. He was there for us with each fight with the school system to get the right placement for Aaron and with each psychiatric hospitalization. Aaron did have to go into residential treatment for a year, during which time Dr. Taggart stayed in constant contact with the facility providing whatever support he could and then assisted with transitioning Aaron home when it was time. He continued to provide treatment and support to our family while Aaron was away to start our healing as a family as well. Once Aaron returned home, he continued to see Dr. Taggart for therapy and med management. If it were not for Dr. Taggart's tireless advocating for Aaron with the school system and our insurance company Aaron would not have gotten the help he needed, and our family would not be where we are today without him! Aaron is now 22 has a full-time job and is doing better than any of us thought he would be when we were in the midst of his mental health crisis.”
