What patients say on Google
“This place is an absolute shame. You’ll get passed around to a new doctor yearly. You have to explain your medical history every single time you go because nobody will know you. Trying to get a refill is almost impossible since they switched their phone system. You would think since UPMC took over it would have got better but it is not. Stay clear from here. Also if you have a history of substance use or abuse be aware because they will absolutely treat you like you just came off the street and are doctor shopping even if you just have trouble sleeping. They do not care because to them you are just another number. They’ll send you to psych or tell you to go to inpatient hospital, kicking the can down the road. Find a doctor that actually cares about you and your family. You want somewhere that wants to know who you are and how they can help you be the best version of you. This place is not that. Most insurances take urgent care go there because I would not consider this family doctor.”
“Very sad😫 very frustrating 😞 this location was supposed to be my savior. I was so happy when this location opened I had been a patient at the Cecil office for 16+ years but had moved to Eighty-four. I was excited to have a location closer to me with a lab. My excitement was dashed when I found out that residents were the primary doctors. It was ok at first for kids, physicals, lab work and such but the constant rotation of the doctors soon lost out on me. I needed a doctor that was familiar with me and my children and our need that the comfort of having a doctor that knew US brang. The past two years (2023 & 2024) have been the worst, they are closed for lunch, don't return phone calls, now it's 5 days to get back to you. That's absolutely absurd. You are better off going to the emergency room. I've been reading the reviews and find them revolting. I don't know how this place stays open. I have definitely checked out on this place and found a new doctor.”
“My husband and I have used this practice for a little over two years, since moving to the area. We initially loved our PCP, but she has since left the practice. Their phone system to make an appointment or to follow up is terrible. It took 30 minutes for me to make an appointment earlier this week. A nurse gave my husband life altering test results over the phone with no additional guidance, leaving us panicked and confused. We haven't received calls back when we were supposed to and in general, it just feels like you're always being talked down to by the staff. I love the location of this practice, but we are switching PCPs as soon as possible.”
“As soon as I'm able to switch my PCP I'm switching. I don't think they have actual doctors here, they only have residents. Their phone system is awful. You have to pretend like you need a controlled substance to talk to a human. If you call during lunch it just hangs up on you. They never answer the phone or call back messages. The nurses act like you are bothering them when you actually do get ahold of someone. Pray you don't need medication refills. The pharmacy calls to get approval for something as simple as high blood pressure medication and they reject it. Then you have to wait 5 days for someone to maybe call you back. I don't think they see patients as anything but cattle filtering in that they have to deal with.”
