What patients say on Google

“I had a neuropsychological assessment done with Dr. Simmonds and I had a very positive experience up until a week ago when I tried reaching out to ask for my full results. The last time I saw Dr. Simmonds about a month ago she told me it would be about a month until I would get my results emailed to me. I have yet to receive any kind of communication from the office after numerous calls and left messages asking about my results. I even went in person one weekday afternoon around 4pm (Google said they were open until 9pm) and the door from the outside was locked. Needless to say, it has been very frustrating and bewildering.”

“We spent months bringing our daughter here for a full neuropsych. When completed, the office refused to give us the report or any form of proof of her diagnosis so that we could start her on appropriate medication. This is the opposite of mental health help! I, at least, urge you to get in writing from them, how long the process will take & when you’ll get the written report of the results. When I tried to escalate my plea, a Dr. Mark Drummond called me back & really had nothing further to tell me other than once the insurance paid, we’d receive the report. We checked with our insurance & they had paid. After that, I could never get anyone to answer my call or return a voicemail. Terrible, terrible place!!! My stepdaughter suffered severe neglect & trauma at the hands of her mother who, she herself has mental health issues. We reached out for help but only got more frustration from Whole Family. Also, Dr. Mallory, from day one, was beyond rude to me & told me I shouldn’t allow my stepdaughter to get too close to me because what if her father & I didn’t stay together. I still didn’t allow my feelings about her unprofessionalism to cloud what could be beneficial to my stepdaughter so she went to one therapy session with Dr. Mallory & with absolutely no input from me, she herself felt “judged” by the doctor & asked not to go back.”

“My low score is related to how the office responded to post-evaluation follow up questions. I was able to get in quickly when I went to make an appointment which was great. But you can never get a live person to answer a phone call. They have a single secretary that appears to be the one in charge of that.. so you are always left to leave a message and wait for a call back. The report I got after the evaluation was reportedly (I don't know much about it, those reviewing the report from the school said this) good. But I was left with a question that required follow-up communication. Legit called and emailed at least 10 times still no response months later. At first the secretary would respond via email stating she'd forward it to the doctor. It is a simple question, but still cannot get a response. For this reason, I cannot recommend this place. I feel as though once my account was paid in full by insurance, we were dropped as patient's and they feel no obligation to follow-up or answer questions.”

“Dr. Mallory was amazing with our 5 year old. He cried when we told him we weren't coming back after his assessment was over. She was very clear with us and answered all of our questions. We would recommend her to anyone.”
