What patients say on Google
“I have seen both Dr. Shahoud and Dr. S.Rahman they are both highly informative and knowledgeable. I now have Dr. Rahman as my lead specialist, he has had me take a set of medications for depression anxiety and mania for over 6 months now and I am finally really starting to feel a breakthrough that I didn't believe possible. Patience with prescriptions is key and these doctors are wonderful”
“My daughter who is 20 and working 2 days a week at Marshall's and lives on her is own is being told she has to pay a $60 DOLLAR fee to get her psych records sent to job corps. Psychiatrist said she would fill out paperwork in 7 days, took 6 weeks and said she would ask Dr. Shahoud to wave the fee then nothing. Called back office said you cannot speak to psych dr and have to ask medical records and file A complaint with HR. Most dysfunctional office I've ever dealt with and I've been dealing with psych since she was 8. Horrible. In the process of switching out of here. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND”
“Western Behavioral Health has messed up my prescriptions through the pharmacy several times, I was paying for someone to refill my prescriptions just like paying a pharmacist to fill my scripts. Then I was told there’s no mental health professionals for therapy. Now my psychiatrist is out of the office until the END of June so they want me to see someone else to refill my prescriptions, to which I’ve already explained that I’m lowering my dosage on my own because the psychiatrist wanted to double my dosage. I was supposed to meet with a complete stranger who I’ve never met JUST for a refill. I’m an Army veteran and I’m not from Pittsburgh but I’ve noticed of all of the cities I’ve lived in Pittsburgh does not respect veterans and I’ve never seen anything like this. It’s a great thing that I studied pharmacology in the Army so I know how to lower my dosage on my own- safely. PTSD is no joke and they have zero respect towards me instead threatening that my prescriptions won’t be filled if I don’t meet with someone I don’t even know ( that’s not word for word but that’s the gist of it) they blamed the pharmacy for their mistakes so I warned the pharmacist about WBH. He thanked me because he said he’s been having issues.Contact the PA department of psychiatry if you have any issues or concerns that the only thing we can do so it doesn’t happen to others. I already called twice so today will be the third time”
“There is so much wrong with these people. I am in the process of switching to a new specialist, and I suggest you do the same. A brief list of my grievances: 1) Excessive new patient paperwork. 2) They make people do drugs tests during their first appointment. 3) Only one voicemail line seems to be monitored. 4) The voicemail greeting tells you to only leave name, dob, callback #, due to "high call volumes" (really unprofessional). 5) Ableist remarks from Grindstone office staff, like they forgot they work in a psychiatrist office. 6) Doctors frequently send medicines to pharmacy out of order and causes issue with insurance coverage for my medicines. (And only sending in "bridgefillers" to cover you until next appointment) 7) Doctor accidentally prescribed a 30 day supply of medication as every other day. I only got 15 pills, when i should have received 30 pills. Don't leave your (or your loved ones') mental health in their hands. You deserve a better standard.”
