Methadone doesn't stop you from having withdrawal symptoms when you first start MAT. But it makes the transition so much easier and keeps you maintained it also controls the cravings. It's not a super fancy top notch place but it's a good program and Western KY Medical executes it well. This place saved my life and I am eternally grateful!! ♡♡♡”

“The counselor or whoever was really nice and I have a lot of respect for her and her views on everything but if you really expect a out of hand fentanyl addict to sit there for 4 hours withdrawing then try to stick them with needles ur insane and I really wish things went differently but there was no chance I was going through that especially when I’m the only one that followed the rules and didn’t come intoxicated I really wanted this and all it seemed like was torture in all honesty I mean how can you have the solution to someone’s problem and instead of helping them first and maybe get some more coherent and well thought answers you have to do the most to them in their worst point in life I couldn’t even think in there because of how sick I was and honestly if y’all can’t see that I do a lot more than the average user then that’s sad”
