Imagine wanting patients to spend the entire appt talking about themselves while you barely do anything, yet still collect a check. Imagine hustling to book appointment after appointment, not because you genuinely want to help, but because you know you can profit from people who desperately need real support. Imagine prescribing medication after medication, not because it’s truly necessary, but because keeping someone dependent means they’ll keep coming back. Imagine doing all of this-taking advantage of people’s vulnerabilities, exploiting their trust, and selling your soul for money-just to go home and still live a miserable life. After this experience, I decided to try an Atrium office, and they told me they have a lot of patients who specifically come from West Counseling with similar complaints. It’s honestly sad, but also reassuring to know that I’m not the only one who has experienced this. What makes it even more disappointing is that social work is something I’m passionate about and plan to pursue in the future. One star because they did have one good provider at one point, but she left. Now I see why.”
