How likely are you to recommend West Cary Psychiatry?
What patients say on Google
“I had a great experience with this office and really appreciate the support I received from Julie. My insurance insurance wouldn't pay my charge and said I was responsible. Julie went above and beyond to help resolve it. She advocated for me even though she didn't have to. It is clear that Julie genuinely cares about me. She patiently explaining the massively confusing billing process until I understood what was going on. I am very greatful for her help and would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for a caring and reliable healthcare provider”
“I was dropped without any proper reason. I have been seeing Dr. Nunez for over 14 years. I’ve never missed an appointment. But now my new insurance doesn’t cover her so I pay out of pocket. I’m sure she gets more by milking Medicare so that’s probably part of the reason too. She also is a die hard liberal and wants to talk politics all the time during my sessions. Which is inappropriate. They gave a bunch of lies for reasons and they won’t let me talk to Dr. Nunez. I don’t understand how they can drop me knowing I have severe depression, bipolar 1, panic anxiety disorder, adhd. I’ve been suicidal and have been in a psych hospital. I guess I’m expected to just stop my medication cold Turkey which will send me into withdrawal and I will end up in the hospital. I asked to talk to Dr. Nunez but they said she won’t talk to me. I cannot contact her in any way. If you did nothing wrong by dropping me why would you not talk to me? Stay far away from that place if you can. This is not right and I will be turning her into the Psychiatric Board.”
“I want to start by saying that my experience with my provider, Susie, was excellent. She was patient, informative, and very helpful in assisting me with what I needed. My concerns are with the administrative and billing side of the practice. When I initially became a client of WCP, I initially received needed testing. Later, I needed documentation completed and was informed that I would need to schedule a meeting with my provider to complete the required form. Upon entering that appointment, I was informed about a newer, more updated assessment that the office now uses. I was highly encouraged and offered the option to take that additional test at a discounted rate, since I had already completed the prior version. I agreed and completed the assessment that day and paid the amount, which meant the original purpose of the appointment (completing the form) was not addressed. The following day, I had a second appointment to complete the form via telehealth, during which we went through it together and I answered the necessary questions. After the form was ready for pickup, I was informed of additional charges for both visits, each, that had not been communicated beforehand. While I understand the charge for the appointment where the form was completed, I was surprised by the additional charge for the first visit, where the only activity was being offered and completing another assessment. When I sought clarification, the interaction became unprofessional and dismissive, which was disappointing. Julie then got extremely unprofessional with me in a heated back and forth discussion and asked me "Aren't you about to become an attorney?" Very Unprofessional. Since I am CURRENTLY a lawyer, I will be fighting against this charge. Julie, you need to do better as a professional and as a person. Overall, my concern is with the lack of transparency around billing and the professionalism in handling the discussion around it. I hope the office can improve clarity and communication going forward.”
“I had a positive experience here overall. Julie from billing was especially helpful and made everything easy to understand. NP Susie was also great and took time to listen and explain things clearly without making me feel rushed. The staff was professional and the process felt smooth. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for psychiatric care in the area.”
