WellSpan York Hospital-Crisis Intervention

“Took my husband here because he was having suicidal thoughts etc... we were there for an hour and then they said we don't have a doctor here. The crisis intervention person will be here at 7 which was 1 hour and 30 minutes later. We sat with her for over an hour. For them to tell us since it's new they are not fully up and running. To go to the ER! Which when I got there I said should I take him to the ER the girl said no just wait they can help. Are you kidding me?!!!! I could have taken him straight to the ER and not sat there for 4 hours for nothing. Don't open a crisis center if it's not fully operational especially for mental health!!!! What a joke!!!”

“Angie Alvarez "wrote" a 302 commitment order for me without having ever spoken to me, my house was broken into, and I was taken in cuffs. The hospital could not hold me due to lack of an actual 302 order. Maybe should have called my therapist, instead of doing a favor for her cop friend and my neighbors.”

“Completely rude to us. Took my GF there for help with getting her into a rehab. Treated her like a total lowlife. Got nothing accomplished. Terrible experience.”
