How likely are you to recommend Vital Psych MD - Psychiatrist - ADHD, Anxiety, Depression & More?
What patients say on Google
“Dr. Kapoor is the perfect doctor for me. Instead of focusing solely on the problem, as many doctors do, he focuses on finding solutions. He is highly knowledgeable, forward-thinking, and genuinely committed to helping his patients achieve the best outcomes. I also appreciate how easy and efficient his practice is. Appointments are available promptly and run on time. The office’s technology system is excellent, with perfectly timed reminders, and all prescriptions and information are provided quickly and seamlessly. Overall, the level of care, professionalism, and efficiency is outstanding.”
“I recently transitioned my psychiatric care away from the University of Miami system, confident I could find better care — and Dr. Kapoor delivered exactly that. Before my first appointment, he had already proactively pulled my records and reviewed my medications. I didn't have to explain my entire history from scratch, which speaks to a level of preparation and genuine investment in patients that you don't always find. He came into the visit with an open mind, willing to re-evaluate my situation rather than just continue what I'd been doing before. He proposed fresh approaches and took immediate, concrete action to address what I'd been dealing with around relaxation and stress management. His demeanor is calm and direct — he earns your respect within the first few minutes. The front office is excellent and the patient intake process is smooth and well-organized. The whole experience, from first contact to the appointment itself, just works. If you're looking for a psychiatrist who is thorough, proactive, and genuinely engaged, Dr. Kapoor comes with my highest recommendation.”
“UPDATE: Their response is a BOLD FACE LIE! She sent me the intake form same day! I had no issue paying! Who doesn't have to pay for a dr appointment??? She literally told me I couldn't be seen because Dr Kapoor was not licensed to prescribe in TN. Then she said he can still see me, but can't treat me.THEN she said he can see me or treat me. This was all withing 1 minute. DO NOT go to this office. Anyone who can lie like this should not offer care for anyone! Not even an animal. I will now report his license since you want to lie in your response! You should've sent me the intake form when I scheduled the appointment!!! Not an hour before! You should also make sure that the intake form on your website matches what you ask your patients to complete! I did the one on the website and you sent something completely different. I still completed the form 30 mins before the appointment. I booked an appointment with this provider based on multiple listings indicating they were licensed in my state. Less than an hour before the appointment, I was asked to complete intake paperwork, and then the appointment was canceled just five minutes before it was scheduled to begin because the provider is not actually licensed to see patients in my state. This is completely unacceptable. Licensure should be verified before allowing patients to book, not at the last minute. On top of that, the timing of the intake request and cancellation shows a lack of basic respect for patients’ time. For anyone seeking care, especially for mental health, this kind of disorganization and misinformation is more than inconvenient, it is disruptive and harmful. I would not recommend this provider based on this experience.”
“DO NOT TRUST THIS PRACTICE. After two years of consistent, compliant care, Dr. Kapoor and his office abruptly abandoned me and canceled my medical appointment on the spot over a financial dispute. Dr. Kapoor is fully aware that I am currently experiencing homelessness and joblessness, yet his office chose to process an unauthorized $100 fee on my Cash App card without a signed card-on-file agreement or consent, leaving me with zero survival funds. Once i questioned the unauthorized charge they then can back with an old bill from last year that my insurance did not pay stating that i needed to pay 145$ for my visit today and since they’d already taken the 100$ I only needed to pay 45$ smh When I questioned this unauthorized charge, they weaponized my mental health care. They refused to let me complete my appointment and are actively withholding my essential psychiatric medication refills unless I pay a lump sum on an old balance—completely violating a $10/month payment plan we explicitly agreed to two months ago. Dr. Kapoor didnt even have the decency to speak with me as his psychiatric patient, leaving me vulnerable facing dangerous medical withdrawal and acute psychiatric instability. This is severe patient abandonment and predatory billing. He treats patients like cash machines instead of human beings. I have filed formal complaints with the Florida Board of Medicine and the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA). Avoid this incompetent, heartless practice at all costs.”
