What patients say on Google

“1. ⭐️⭐️ - It is difficult getting services in the beginning due to poor administration (answering calls, scheduling and reaching back out to clients). 2. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Once you become a client, there are some great therapist and providers here. They work around your schedule and try their best to support you. 3. ⭐️ - I had a very disappointing experience during a Diagnostic Evaluation / Medication Management appointment with Ms. Kamoya. During the appointment, she asked if there was anything else I wanted to share. I explained how my mental health conditions have been affecting my everyday life. Instead of acknowledging it or documenting it, she told me I could talk about that in therapy. I asked if she could document what I was saying in my notes for my therapist because I may forget to bring it up at my next appointment. She asked who my therapist was, then stated that she did not know my therapist, that my therapist does not look at her notes, and that I needed to write it down myself and tell my therapist directly. I then asked if someone else could document it for me. She said there was no one else there to do that while yawning during our conversation. She mentioned the person at the front desk. When I asked if she could get a supervisor, she said the supervisor may be in a meeting. That is when I walked out to request a supervisor myself. This was my second time meeting Ms. Kamoya. The first time was through a virtual appointment for a medication refill, and I was not pleased with her service then either. I then went back to a different agency for medication. My therapist wanted me to receive full care at Vesta, so I tried again and met with another medication provider, Ms. Mo, who was amazing. She allowed me to explain what I was dealing with, listened to me, and helped me get the medication I needed to feel better. I wanted to see Ms. Mo again, but Vesta required me to come into the office, and because of availability and location, I ended up scheduled with Ms. Kamoya again. This experience made me feel like I was wasting my breath disclosing my true struggles. I felt invalidated, unsupported, and like my mental health was not being cared for. I also felt like she was rushing to get back to the call she had during our meeting. I do not feel that Ms. Kamoya is a safe provider for me to speak with. If I were having darker or more vulnerable feelings, I would not feel comfortable sharing them with her. In my experience, she did not show empathy, active listening, or the kind of care needed for people going through mental health challenges. Before leaving the office, I met with the supervisor who carefully listened to my concerns. She advised that she would follow up with Ms. Kamoya and my therapist. I truly appreciate how the supervisor listed to me and could understand my frustration. Thank you.”

“No friendly welcome from the front desk staff, no smile or anything to say hello 👋 or good afternoon, even when they finish the job, they ignored we waited at the office seating. You have to welcome and feel a good environment. Also disappointed when you asking questions and concerns and they just said " I am talking" . Therapist is great 👍, not question about it.”

“Vesta Inc is one of the best things to happen to me. The team I've had over the last year plus has been surreal. Ms. Jesus makes sure I can get in with my med management team (Mo or others) or if any other admin situations occur. Beyond grateful for her. Sean as my Client Services partner has been a lifesaver on so many levels. As professional as we keep it, that's the homie and definitely a rock in my corner. My therapist, Allison, is so great that even virtual meetings make it feel like we are in the same room. I really can't say how blessed and fortunate I am for my support team. They deserve a raise, multiple accolades, and advance entrance into heaven. I wouldn't be here still fighting to figure things out if it wasn't for them.”

“Most of the therapists I've met are very nice other than a few. I struggle with the psychiatrists though as they tend to be pretty monotone and just don't seem to care about me as a person, so I feel uncomfortable trying to talk with them to get proper meds. The receptionists are really lacking though.. I would schedule an appointment just for it to be scheduled for a different day instead and I don't know until day of and there's nothing I can do but try and make another appointment, delaying my time to be seen. I've also gotten mixed up with other patients in scheduling which is frustrating. They also just straight up hung up on me when I was trying to call them back after getting a call about rescheduling me.. it just feels very unprofessional.”
