What patients say on Google

“Went to the Vanderbilt children's ER in hopes of finding help for my daughter who is having explosive behavior hurting others, destruction of property, aggression, and has become non-compliant with going to doctor's appointments in school her mental health is failing I was told by a few different providers that she does me criteria to be admitted. After sitting there for hours we found out that Vanderbilt does have a bed but after looking at her case denied her because they didn't think it would be able to provide the proper type of treatment that would be beneficial to her. It left us with no place to go where we could take her. The head psychiatrist here I feel like made a mistake”
Sarah Pregler
“Impossible to use their care when they won't accept referrals unless it's from an internal provider from their own hospital. But yet they are my insurance list and listed as taking new patients. How is the community supposed to use the great Vanderbilt if they are so selective on the referrals they accept?”
Bethany Wolford
“Poorly run clinic. We scheduled testing for our 13 year old son. Unfortunately, the person that scheduled the appointment entered our phone number incorrectly. Their "automated system" apparently called this incorrect number to confirm the appointment. When it didn't reach us, they just cancelled the appointment without us ever knowing. They could have sent us an email, or even a letter. Instead, we wasted an hour driving there in traffic just to find out we couldn't be seen, then another hour returning home. I would be less furious, except when we showed up at the clinic, they told us this happens quite often. It's really a shame there is no consequence for this level of incompetence.”
Randy Willis
“I've been coming here for my child for 7 years. The wait is absolutely ridiculous, the dr. interaction outside the office is terrible, they are booked out months and months, I have seriously reached my breaking point with these people. I'm done. They don't make my sons health a priority and show that he's just another number and a chart and not a human being! Do not see Maxwell Horn, she's a disgrace to a child's care and doesn't take her job as serious as she should. I don't even know how she got a job here, she is absolutely terrible. I am so disappointed in this clinic and disgusted”
