What patients say on Google
“My child is currently in foster care and receives therapy services here. Despite being her parent, both the therapist and social workers have refused to allow me to have any meaningful conversation with the therapist regarding my child’s care, treatment, and well-being. Decisions that directly impact my child’s life are being made without all relevant information being considered. What is especially concerning is that I have not been allowed to see my child since September, yet the therapist has allowed the father — who is responsible for her entering foster care, has a Level 2 CPS finding for abuse, and has pled guilty to criminal child abuse charges — to have in-person access to our child. I also have serious concerns regarding the appropriateness of the therapeutic match. The therapist specializes primarily in marriage therapy, which I do not believe is an appropriate specialty for a child under 10 years old with a significant trauma history. Additionally, it feels concerning and potentially inappropriate that a therapist who has a personal interest and history involving the adoption of children is working so closely with foster children. At minimum, it raises questions about professional boundaries and possible conflicts of interest. As a parent, this entire experience has been deeply upsetting and concerning to witness.”
“Very unprofessional. I’ve left numerous voicemails for the clinical coordinator whom absolutely refuses to return my calls (even though it’s a court order) to help the reunification of our family. She is not willing to do anything to help the process it would seem. I feel she is being very judgmental about a situation without knowing any facts.”
