What patients say on Google

“Healthcare in the U.S. can be incredibly frustrating right now 😭, but in my experience once you get through the waiting process and through the interviews and paperwork and talking … the care here has been worth it. Please don’t give up because of the wait. You are worth the effort and getting help is worth the patience. I’ve read some reviews that touched base on how people feel like they are treated unfairly when trying to get a regular medication . And I’ve felt like I’ve been started on abnormally low doses at first due to an addiction point in my past … but if you vouch for yourself enough and speak up … you will get the help you need. So moving forward .., I really want to give an honorable mention to healthcare worker Cordell. He is, without ANY question, one of the most patient, kind, and understanding people I have ever met in healthcare let alone in my entire life. Cordell has gone above and beyond for me on multiple occasions, not because he had to, but because he genuinely cares about the people he helps. He has never made me feel like I was just another patient or another number. He made me feel seen, heard, and valued as a person. There were days when I genuinely wasn’t sure I was going to make it through, and Cordell was one of the people who helped me find the strength to keep going. I’ll never forget those times. Throughout the course of a year or two, Cordell has gone above and beyond to show me that there are people who actually care in this world. Cordell blurred the lines between a professional and a person and made it all seem so smooth and natural. Thank you for being you. Every time I come in, Cordell is either focused and helping another patient with the same focus he gives me , or he’s checking in with me with genuine intent Not only is Cordell an incredible employee at UW, but he is also an incredible human being. He deserves every bit of recognition, appreciation, and maybe even a few extra vacation days! His compassion reflects exactly what healthcare should be. I also want to recognize the rest of the staff at this location. Time and time again, I’ve been treated with kindness, respect, and professionalism. Every visit reminds me that the people here truly care about their patients, and that doesn’t go unnoticed. That said, I have experienced a couple of setbacks within the psychology department. I recognize that psychologists carry an enormous emotional burden and work under significant pressure. I also understand there are professional boundaries they must maintain. However, when you’re struggling with your mental health, your psychologist often becomes one of the people you rely on most. They are meant to be a source of stability during some of the hardest moments in a person’s life. My hope is that they are given the support, staffing, and resources they need so that stress and burnout don’t interfere with the compassionate care they strive to provide. I truly believe everyone at UW wants the best for their patients, and I hope they continue investing in the incredible people who make that possible. Thanks everyone for being so amazing despite the obstacles we face daily.”

“If you need a trained therapist, this is a good place to go. My therapist switched here and I followed her. While her office is not as cozy and has no windows, she is still the same. There are some hoops you have to jump through with Quartz if you have them for insurance and just to be seen. That was a little frustrating but I completely understood since I have been in therapy for a while. I do recommend this place.”

“I do not think it is quite fair to rate this clinic as a whole. Your experience is very much going to be a product of the rapport or lack thereof that you have with your provider. I am very lucky in that my therapist is superb. Without her, I don't know if I would be here to write this. But I will also say that the staff, receptionists, etc, have always been polite and professional. Yes, you are likely going to wait to see someone when you first try to get in. There are not enough therapists and psychologists in this city.”
Justin Conley
“Very nice receptionists, and met with a very nice therapist who listened very well to my issues. She was also very respectful and well educated. I will for sure be returning. And the waiting room and therapy room is kept very clean.I just felt like I was in a safe and comfortable environment.”
