What patients say on Google

“Never in my 37 years have I had as many issues getting prescription refills as I have with this office. On multiple occasions, my refills have been denied without any explanation. Only after calling was I told about office policies (such as needing a follow-up appointment before refills can be approved) that were never clearly communicated to me. Most recently, I later discovered two missed messages asking me to call because my next appointment had been scheduled incorrectly. To my knowledge, I had an appointment on the books when I requested my refill. I’m a mother of five and the full-time caregiver for several children with disabilities. Like many people, I occasionally miss a phone call or voicemail. That shouldn’t result in someone suddenly being left without medically necessary psychiatric medication. Psychiatric medications often cannot be stopped abruptly. Having patients go days without medication because of preventable communication issues is not only incredibly stressful, it can be dangerous. I have spoken with one or two staff members who were genuinely kind and understanding, and I appreciate them. Unfortunately, the overall experience has been one of poor communication, inconsistent policies, and unnecessary barriers to receiving ongoing care. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice.”

“I've been on the same prescriptions for the past 16+ years of my life. Coming here I get assigned to student that wants to experiment and play with my medications, everytime these new prescriptions have made me sick, nevertheless it continues despite my previous regimin working perfectly for 16+ years! Additionally, they randomly assign drug tests every few months in order to get prescriptions despite not showing any signs of addiction or dependence on illicit substances and end up being charged insane amounts for the tests. Overall doctors here are difficult are inexperienced and difficult to work with.”

“It was going fine until recently. They called this morning to schedule my next appointment, they retracted and said they couldn't make it. Apparently I had been "dismissed" for "too many missed appointments". I looked at MyChart and here are some notes: I had ONE missed appointment in Aug 2024. (it's Jul 2025) I had been seen SEVERAL times since then. NO Letter or documentation was sent or posted to MyChart. The Rep on the line WHO CALLED TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT was unwilling to even attempt to look into it. That's what the note on the chart says and "there's nothing to be done about it." But it's ok...I can "appeal" the decision Apr 2026. My SNRI is about to run out leaving me in a desperate search to find another provider in a climate that's already oversaturated. No critical thinking skills trained or supported. No professionalism, just robotic dedication to whatever insanity they favor that day. Save yourself the pain and trouble. Find Somewhere else.”

“I would not recommend and I will never go back. I went to Northridge for several months and showed up on time for appointments and was still turned away because the resident didn't have time for me. I was treated differently because of the diagnosis I have and feel like the experience as a whole, was more harmful than helpful. I tried speaking to someone in charge and they were so disrespectful, I walked out. Northridge will get you in and out quickly and not give you the help you really need. They are understaffed and overbooked.”
