How likely are you to recommend UPMC Western Psychological Associates?
What patients say on Google
“I see Elizabeth Trump and she is the absolute best! I’ve benefited greatly by having her as my therapist. She’s definitely a gem, very compassionate and knowledgeable. I can’t say enough good things about her and this practice. I’m just so incredibly grateful I found her! Also, the receptionists are seriously the nicest ladies you’ll ever meet! They’re all so lovely and caring! They always brighten my day!”
“I started coming here a few months ago, and I have been very impressed through the whole experience. When I made the initial appointment, they were very thorough and kind. They made me feel comfortable. Once I was able to get in to my first appt, I was nervous, but my therapist made me feel welcome. I appreciate that he lets me lead the conversation, and it eases us in to other topics we need to work on. I had an issue with my insurance, and the women at the front desk helped to alleviate the situation. Theyre so friendly. That's huge for when you're going to a visit like this.”
“Went for initial intake and the therapist John seemed okay. He went on about the plan and how he thinks he can help, make sure i make the next few appointments no more then 2week out so we do not lose progress. Then I go for my next appointment, he seems different and ask what i want to work on? I dont know i said. He then proceed to just sit there. I thought he had a direction/ plan. I left the appointment, and felt really bad and useless. I would not recommend this therapist.”
“My primary therapist has been out on an extended medical leave. To fill the void I've been referred to 2 separate therapists at the york location (I'm in harrisburg). On both occasions there was last minute confusion on forwarding a doxy link for online sessions. Needless to say neither session happened and I've been without therapy since late April. Unfortunately I would highly recommend seeking help elsewhere.”
