“We had to go to the ER for medical care and the first time our experience was great and staff was friendly. The second time, less than 48hrs later we were back again and I would never recommend anyone go there. The doctors don’t listen and dismiss you. I cannot believe the awful care we were given today. When someone is so much pain it’s bringing tears to their eyes they should not be discharged without further care.”

“Worst hospital for ob care in The UP. They wait til your 6+ months along before getting you in and then make nonsense excuses to keep you 3 and 4hours for a 30 min appointment. Do better portage your the only labor n delivery for what over 100 miles!”

“Our care on the ACU was beyond exceptional! Karla, our RN had like 6 daisy awards and id say they are well deserved. We were over an hour late due to messing up the time change from our home and they still seen our girl. Loved this team and hospital entirely. We received this in the mail today a few days after surgery and a bear at surgery.”

“This place is hit or miss. I've been hospitalized many times here and there are nurses that have been wonderful and nurses that have been horrific; ( same experience with the doctors) The oncology IV centers are wonderful as are the blood draw nurses. The parking lot ER area gets extremely busy and full but they do generally have open handicap spots available.”
