How likely are you to recommend UofL Physicians – Psychiatry & Depression Center?
What patients say on Google
“My husband and I are so fortunate to have Dr Schoenbachler on my husband's medical team. He is very thorough in making sure all prescribed medications work together and provide the best of care. Dr Ben also listens and addresses our concerns and questions. After each appointment, we leave knowing that my husband is getting the best care and we are so fortunate to have Dr. Ben on our team.”
“Dr. Schoenbachler is very knowledgeable and professional while treating his patients. He treats therm with respect and encourages wellness while reinforcing one’s dignity. He is a Dr. that maintains a professional disposition while allowing people to feel to heard as individuals. This allows his patients yo express concerns while maintaining autonomy rather than being seen as just a clinical diagnosis. It is rare to find Psychiatrists of this his caliber. However U of L seems to have a highly qualified staff from the praise I hear from various patients checking in and leaving. Not everyone is pleased so obviously there is one therapist that obviously sucks. However over all patients seem to be pleased with their care. As they are walking out the door most are vocalizing how they are looking forward to their next visit. I am grateful I get to receive this level of quality care. Yours Truly”
“I had the opportunity to see Alexander Upegui, MD, a psychiatry resident, today, and I was genuinely impressed by his empathy, attentiveness, and willingness to truly listen. I felt heard, respected, and understood throughout our conversation, which is something that can make an enormous difference when someone is seeking psychiatric care. Dr. Upegui demonstrated a level of compassion and attentiveness that I believe will serve him exceptionally well throughout his career. I genuinely believe he will be an asset to the field of psychiatry and, in time, a trailblazer in the profession. I’m grateful for the time he took to listen to me and for the way he made me feel heard as a patient.”
“Dr. G asked all the right questions and gave me space to answer them honestly and thoroughly. I got the sense her mind was busy working out solutions and by the end of our appointment she had ideas on what I could try to find mental balance and relief. I trust her and am ready to take the next steps.”
