“Very thorough psych evaluation. Was the reason I was able to get properly and formally diagnosed so I could get an iep for school. That being said, during one of my visits I told the doctor that I was physically abused following some poor choices I had made in a relationship he asked “Did you learn your lesson?”. Completely inappropriate and unprofessional. It bothers me to this day. It’s been about two years. I don’t think I’ll ever forget. It’s a shame because I do believe the doctor is very intelligent and knowledgeable. Unfortunately that doesn’t change the impact that his careless words left.”

“People reaching out for help is a first big step to getting treated/help they need and so you would think the people on the other side of the phone would be more eager to help considering it’s not an easy step. I tried to get through for two days and I’ve been sent to voicemail countless times. Whenever I got through to someone I was transferred sent to voicemail again I was given a bunch of numbers and just an endless cycle really.. super unorganized. Really discouraging and frustrating.”

“I took my Mother here she needed psychiatric help because of her disorder FYI this is not the place for your loved one. The nurses are great the management leaves a very bad taste. Not a solution for mental health disorders. Very sad to know the mental health system in such a big city does not work or help.”

“The reviews are true the customer service is TERRIBLE ! I was on hold and hung up on twice and when I finally got to someone they told me to call back with my insurance Id and the next day I called they told me my insurance is not covered even though i was advised it was and it is on the insurance website. Completely ridiculous, save yourself a phone call and find another psychiatry department.”
