What patients say on Google

“While the care I received at Illinois College of medicine was solid other than typical new resident issues, the reason I am leaving this review is due to the whole unacceptable process for transferring care and sending medical records. I called during normal business hours to get any forms needed to request my records be sent to a new provider. I was told that every employee who knows how to initiate records requests was on vacation. My new provider needs them to set up the first appointment so their poor staffing decisions are actively delaying me receiving medical care. After doing some research, I found that while providers do have 30 days to furnish requests, they are not allowed to deny you the option to request records in the first place which is what happened to me. That is a major HIPPA violation and should be a priority for their clinic manager to address.”

“This place drove my mom crazy when I was a kid. I then made the mistake of seeking help here. This department is a joke and if you want inexperience psychiatric help, thats exactly what you'll get. I waste of 3 months of my time and the only thing they did was get an attitude with me when I asked for the help I felt I needed. Id recommend any other place that actually has experienced professionals that can help. Because the people here DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.”
Duane Rutledge
“I was very nervous going in since this is my 3rd psychiatrist. I was also worried how it would be since it is a learning center. The staff at the front desk were very nice and down to earth. My doctor listened to everything I had to say and you could tell she was extremely engaged. She covered everything and even made a treatment plan that works best for me! I have never been treated with such compassion in the past. Hands down the best office in the area! These guys really know what they're doing!”
Brittany Petty
“It's a shame a great clinical team has to be dulled behind an administrative and front desk team that is rude, incompetent and useless. Those women behind the desk couldn't be more apethetic or miserable. Maybe they should seek some treatment from their employers. Puts a real stain on the organization and what they're trying to do.”
