What patients say on Google

“Let me be explicitly clear: the therapist are fantastic. It's their policies that aren't. Due to circumstances outside of my control I had to cancel several appointments, one for a car accident, one a medical emergency, one because we got covid, and another because we blew a tire in our car and couldn't get in for a replacement. It took 22 calls to tire places in Muskegon for 1 person to answer with a "maybe we can replace them before Sunday." One therapist here is the ONLY therapist in the entire county that offers services that I found beneficial. Without a warning she let me go. I kindly request that since she has the knowledge she's the only one in the county that offers these services, even if it's not policy, she warns clients before it gets to this point in the future. She sentenced me to a lifetime of unhealed wounds. It's not like therapist with that speciality are flocking to this area. In my ten years of therapy services it was the first time in my life I was actually getting a benefit from a program. To be dropped in a rural county, as a low income person who has no feasible way to make it to GR once a week for services, sucks because I know I will never get the healing I deserve, that my children deserve. I don't have family here, I don't have friends here, but I would've done everything in my power to avoid being dropped had my therapist simply communicated. I deserved that chance. Maybe they'll see this and realize they should give other people the chance that they refused to give me. Instead they gave me the gift of never being able to trust a therapist actually cares or understands my situation. Instead they've sent me into a mental health spiral. Why keep trying when I'm clearing not doing enough? It feels like if you're disabled, raising a disabled child, have low immunity, are low income, and your life is anything less than perfect - you will never get the help you need because they will never understand how your life will get hit with incidents repeatedly that are out of your control. I just wanted a chance to heal. Now I'll have to learn to cope with the trauma that has been suffocating the life out of me since I was a child with no hope of healing. But people don't matter when policies and late stage capitalism is a dictator. Its not the therapist fault for enforcing the policy. But they actively made a choice not to talk to me about the cancelations prior to dropping me. They actively decided that it didn't matter why I missed an appointment- just that it was missed. They decided that I wasn't worth the conversation which means they made a decision somewhere along the way that I wasn't worth their time or services. I don't know what stings worse, being dropped or knowing the decisions they made along the way to allow that to happen. The choice not to communicate, the choice not to excuse a medical emergency or covid. They've decided that I don't care without even considering how much I care and how much is out of my control. I would've done anything to try and keep services. I wasn't given that opportunity. I hope this doesn't get deleted and someone, somewhere is given the opportunity that I didn't get. Therapist are great, again. Policies just aren't meant for humans with less than ideal lives, but that's what happens when profits come before people.”

“Therapist Kim F. is truly one of a kind. Her compassion, care, knowledge, and attentive nature are evident in every session. She creates an environment where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported, while also providing thoughtful insight and guidance that helps you grow. That type of care is rare. The amount of personal growth I have experienced since working with Kim is difficult to put into words. She has helped me better understand myself, recognize patterns, work through difficult emotions, and approach situations with a completely different perspective. Most importantly, Kim has helped me reach a level of mental peace that I did not know was possible for me. Kim truly cares about her clients and the work that she does. I am incredibly grateful for the positive and lasting impact she has had on my life.”

“Thoughtfulness from the minute you walk in the door.”

“This practice lets other therapists who aren’t your child’s therapist (Julie Escareno) talk to them inappropriately and instead of addressing it with that therapist they call the police and trespass you from the property for sticking up for your child. Highly DONT recommend bringing children here.”
