What patients say on Google

“Front office is polite. Doctor Carla Winn is wonderful and has been just about the only help I’ve received while going there. After my first trip to St Simons by the Sea, I was sent to Unison. I went there involuntarily as an adolescent for a year before I stopped going because they continuously tried to send me back to the hospital every time I went even though I was doing better. About 6 months ago, I reached back out and asked to be put back into therapy with a different therapist. It took them 4 months to even schedule me an appointment, and when they did finally put me on the schedule, they did not put me with who they said they would, they put me with someone I wasn’t even told was an option. They cancelled on me four separate times, not telling me until last minute when I got there for my appointment. It’s very frustrating especially since I reached out and asked for help and it’s like they are refusing to give it to me. Annabelle and Ms Rebecca are wonderful.”

“Unison has been good to me. They have helped me with housing when I was homeless. The case managers really care about you. They have a pharmacy so you can get your meds right there.”
Jason “Cexey” Brooker
“While im grateful they aid people in need, even if they cannot afford treatment, its ridiculous how much the front staff desk don't care. 1/10 will a trip be worth driving there. Because most of the time they forget to ACTUALLY check you in, never call AHEAD OF TIME if they need to reschedule your appointment, they only call when you've already wasted precious gas driving up there. They're very unprofessional and its obvious they don't respect people's time. Its fine if you dont like your job but its not my fault. Im a person too and I dont want an hour of my day wasted driving there, only for you to cancel the appointment only 3 minutes prior.”
Oli Goattie
“It's just a lot for patients that go there. Not able to get a full understanding of wants going on if you're their care person taking them in. Walk-ins are really difficult for family members if the person has no transportation once your going to miss an appt but to have you come in at 6:45 am and wait to see if they can fit you end is absolutely ridiculous. I feel their classes could be better in helping too much paperwork, not enough counseling, all like a revolving door, but it's all we have”
