What patients say on Google

“The only 2 reasons I'm giving 2 stars is the ease of parking and the reception girls were awesome, the rest was disappointing and deserves 0 stars. First off, the only paperwork to fill out was about my pain, and authorization forms. Even though it was physical therapy, the therapist needs to know about medications, otc remedies the patient is trying, mental health and overall health. Basically the same paperwork patients fill out for a new Dr or specialist. I believe that helps in proper care, regardless of the specialty. Had I filled out comprehensive paperwork the therapist wouldn't have judged me and made false assumptions to my face as well as the after visit notes. I have anxiety and in new situations where I'm nervous, I scratch myself but its so infrequent I don't need medication. I also have allergies to specific foods and laundry soaps and neoprene, the main thing in wrist braces. Including the one I currently wear. NONE of which was known bc of lacking medical information. The therapist asked about the injury, lack of range of motion, being out of work indefinitely. When I moved my arm she noticed a rash on both arms. Then automatically assumed it was a contagious rash simply based on it looking similar to someone she had working at the hospital having a similar rash. Then I'll assume she went to her supervisor and came back, refused any further therapy til I got it checked out! Had she had a more in depth paperwork from me, about me, that judgemental assumption would not have been made! Then she lied in after visit notations and claimed it was all over my body, when she only viewed my arms to my shoulders! I do not appreciate the judgements or false assumptions. It could have been an allergic reaction rash, anxiety scratching or NOTHING contagious! If this is how therapists act when they don't have the complete picture, I won't be coming back to your office. Thank you for your time and I hope this issue is fixed. A proper complaint will be filed through uhs soon.”

“UHS Physical Therapy of Norwich is awesome. Rehab for my hip replacement was perfect. I was back to myself in no time at all. My Physical Therapist Catrina is the best. She gets a gold star 🌟”

“Tyler Peterson, UHS PT Very easy to understand and follow his suggestions. I am continuing the exercises at home regularly and feel that I am getting stronger and more balanced each day. Very happy that he was my assigned physical therapist.”

“0 stars. I’m posting this as a warning to other patients. My therapist at this UHS location entered misleading and inaccurate information into my medical record, including statements that did not reflect what actually happened during my appointment. When I reported the issue, the department did not correct the therapist’s false documentation. Instead, they told me I had to submit a separate form so my side could be “added” to the record — while the therapist’s incorrect notes stay exactly as written.Patients deserve accurate medical records. If you come here, double‑check everything the therapist writes, because mistakes or misleading statements may not be corrected even when reported. If you value honest documentation, be cautious.”
