What patients say on Google

“The intake person is so nasty! I called bc I’m looking for help. The receptionist took a message and said intake would called back. Apparently you need a referral to go there, which I was not told; nor is it started anywhere that you needed one. The intake lady was so rude when I said didn’t have one. It is so hard to get mental health help. It took so much to even reach out. She had zero interest in even trying to assist”

“DO. NOT. GO. HERE. If you're in serious need of treatment, this should be the last place you look. I hope this review can help steer those who need help, in a better direction: I have been trying to get in as a new patient for literally months for medication as I do therapy at a different providers office. The intake team here rarely calls back, and the level of incompetence at this office is nothing short of remakable and, unironically, impressive. I called them and left a voicemail to schedule a new patient appt. I wasn't even able to give them my information until a week later when I (MYSELF) called them again. They requested a copy of my report from my therapist, and when my therapist sent it over (which they did while I was there, and I saw the fax received confirmation myself) they said they didn't have it (until I gave a little push back, and they somehow magically were able to find it). Once found, they told me they would call me back to set up the appointment (mind you, this was the SECOND TIME I had given them my information). With busy season at work, I wasn't available to follow up, they also REFUSED to talk with my wife (whom is listed as my healthcare proxy and I have HIPPA forms filled out for her galore), and so, crickets for a month, no emails, no phone calls, no messages, nothing. Now that busy seasons over, I call them for an update on when we can schedule this appointment (now that they have my report and all my information, and assigned me a physician) only for them to somehow not have ANY of my information INCLUDING my report from my therapist (requesting my information for a THIRD time). Needless to say, I will not be pursuing treatment here, as I (like everyone else who needs care) need a providers office that is actually competent if I want to get better (I suggest you do the same of you're serious about your treatment and want tangible results, because, evidentially, youre not going to get it here). On a professional level, as a corporate operations specialist who has worked with providers, insurance companies, etc, how this place retains (much less gets NEW) business has to, legitimately, be nothing short of a miracle. The level of incompetence and disorganization for a DOCTORS OFFICE not only deters me from wanting to get in, but more so, treatment: If they can't even handle their bare basic admin work, I shutter to think how dysfunctional the dr's and pa's must be. My heart goes out to the people who need mental health help but feel like they can't receive it because of places like this. Places like this should honestly just be sued and closed.”

“Very nasty staff, makes fun of people with speech problems. My brother called and asked if they take medicare. Staff yelled. No we don’t take medical what stupid question is that. He said no MEDICARE SHE REPLIED “ you must be slow this is NY avoid these people at all coast”

“My time with the office was not bad, until I recieved a letter in the mail that my current doctor was no longer seeing patients. I called to ask my options since the letter said there were two other doctors accepting patients and the woman on the phone cut me off and said, "they're full." She did not give me any suggestions or apologize for the inconvenience; all she said was, "they're full." So now I am on my own to look for a new doctor taking patients. I just think the sudden dropping of patients and lack of assistance on next steps is very cold and disrespectful. I will not be returning to this office or suggesting anyone to them.”
