How likely are you to recommend Ubaid Khokhar, MD?
What patients say on Google
“I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Ubaid Khokhar. As a woman, I felt talked down to throughout my appointments and left with the impression that my concerns were not taken as seriously as they should have been. His communication came across as dismissive and, at times, disrespectful, which made me feel uncomfortable and undervalued as a patient. Please be cautious with this practice and Dr. Khokhar Another recurring issue was the excessive wait time. Despite arriving on time for my appointments, I was often left waiting close to an hour without any explanation or apology. When I raised the issue, I was simply told to reschedule, only for the same thing to happen again. As someone dealing with anxiety and depression, I found the lack of empathy especially difficult. I expected a healthcare provider to be understanding and respectful, but instead I felt rushed and unheard. Overall, I left feeling that patient concerns and time were not valued. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this practice.”
“Got bullied and wasted my money and time. When I told Dr Khokhar about having obsessive rumination he didn’t even let me elaborate and told me to “get a girlfriend” to fix this. I was prescribed multiple medications quickly, What troubled me most was how my anxiety was handled. Instead of working through it with me or discussing less extreme options, I was referred for inpatient hospitalization, which felt disproportionate to what I was experiencing at the time. This decision had a serious emotional impact on me. During one visit, when I opened up about personal struggles, I felt dismissed by a response along the lines of “so what, it’s America,” which made me feel unheard and invalidated. Overall, I left feeling worse, not better. I would strongly encourage others to make sure they feel fully heard, respected, and informed before continuing care with any provider.”
“Very patient, listens, concerned about overall health. He cares about what is going on in your life. Believes in trying minimal medication instead of doping you up. He turned my bipolar around for the better, decreased my anxiety. He's great!!!! His office staff is friendly and very efficient”
“Dr. Khokhar Is a fantastic doctor that listens and has turned my life around.”
