“I’m watching the Lindsay Clancy trial and quickly reminded of my experience seeing Dr Niku Singh many years ago. He failed to provide informed consent (warning of a drug side effects) When I began taking a medication prescribed by Dr. Singh, I started to experience severe involuntary movements in my eyes so significant that I was unable to drive. I reported these symptoms to Dr. Singh over the course of months and he never acknowledged it (deferred to vision or other issues). He failed to diagnose it as a side effect of the medication. I now have permanent tardive dyskinesia (involuntary movements) in my lips, tongue and eyes. To minimize symptoms, I must take a medication for the remainder of my life, as well as see a neurologist for Botox around my eyes every two months to further reduce the impacts on my eyes. I am forever resentful. He failed me.”
