How likely are you to recommend Tyler Ruch, Psychiatrist?
“Dr. Tyler Ruch is the best psychiatric specialist I have ever seen. He has an excellent bedside manner and rather than just writing me prescriptions and sending me on my way took the time to talk about the changes with me. His dosing instructions are also clear and I trust his medical opinion over others I have seen.”
“I’ve seen a lot of mental health professionals for medication and Dr Ruch has been the first where I actually felt cared about. He is also the first psychiatrist I’ve had where I feel safe sharing everything I’m struggling with. He is so kind and empathetic and I never feel judged. I also appreciate how good of a listener he is and he picks up on things that need addressed that I didn’t recognize myself. I finally have hope in my mental health getting better and I’m so thankful for Dr. Ruch!”
“This man TEXTED a new patient less than an hour before a first appointment to cancel it. This was a family member of mine who was excited for the appointment. She had been with another provider at Lifestance who said it "wasn't a good fit" after just a few months, and passed her to Dr. Ruch with the promise that he would be able to help her. We had been excited to work with Lifestance, jumped through hoops, and were disappointed to be told "not a good fit," but we understood and waited patiently for the appointment with Dr. Ruch. To receive a text at such late notice was not only unprofessional, it was beyond disappointing. When we called to uncover the reason for the cancellation, he gave a similar "not a good fit" excuse, without taking time to kindly talk with the patient or assess the situation to find the appropriate solution. We understand things aren't always a good fit, but to pass someone around and make them wait, give them hope they'll receive help, and then make them feel like they're defective, unwanted, and undeserving of assistance, this is just beyond the pale. We were told Lifestance was "interested in hearing from us" and "will reach out once they have a chance to look into this," and it's been weeks. No response. The lack of care, concern, and compassion from a healthcare provider is frightening.”
“I've only had one meeting with Dr. Ruch, but he is a wonderful listener, addresses all concerns with empathy, and developed a solid plan for me to get back on track. He is knowledgeable, prompt, and open regarding medical questions.”
