“The care I’ve received at Turnwell has been excellent. My therapist is wonderful, my psychiatrist is knowledgeable and compassionate, and every interaction I’ve had with the front desk staff has been pleasant. Everyone I’ve worked with has been friendly, professional, and genuinely seems to care about their patients. Unfortunately, the billing department has been a completely different experience. While I understand that balances need to be paid, there seems to be very little willingness to work with patients who are living on a limited or fixed income. Instead of offering reasonable payment plans, I was told they wanted either the full balance or a minimum payment of $250, which simply isn’t realistic for many people. Mental health care should include compassion in every part of the patient experience, including billing. It’s disappointing that such a great clinical team is overshadowed by a billing process that feels inflexible and unsympathetic to patients’ financial situations. I truly appreciate the therapists, psychiatrists, and front office staff, and they are the reason I’m giving four stars instead of fewer. I sincerely hope Turnwell reevaluates how its billing department works with patients because the care itself deserves better support.”

They always take care of requests that are a pain to deal with…. i.e. insurance prior authorizations, pharmacy issues, etc. There’s so much behind the scenes that patients don’t see. Shannon is one of the best therapists I’ve experienced. She is warm, kind, never judgy, & always gives great advice. I highly recommend them!”
