“I’ve lived with depression my whole life. After I hit rock bottom in 2024 I stopped going out, and cried alllll the time for no reason. Thinking I’d tried almost every antidepressant, it was suggested that I try ketamine therapy. I found Dr. Perviz and Turnwell Mental Health during a provider search. Instead of trying more meds, she had me discontinue meds a previous psychiatrist had over-prescribed. She also worked quickly to get me approved for ketamine treatments. I was skeptical, but after a month of treatment I started feeling like a new person. No more anxiety about leaving the house, and no more random crying. By no means is it a “fix-all” treatment, but it has gotten me feeling better emotionally than I ever have.”
