“NEW MOMS DO NOT GO HERE!! Early September I reached out to my healthcare provider for assistance for postpartum depression who then referred me to Trihealth Womens Services (mental health center) and my experience was terrible. I was going through a lot and it was really out of my comfort zone to ask for help. So, I called them on October 1st for a new patient appointment and that I had been referred. The lady I spoke with advised me I needed a referral and to call back when I got one, I told her I already had one and she stated she couldn't see it. I called my dr back, the said yes they sent it, I can also see this in my end in my own my chart. I called back 2 days later asking for an appt. They lady I spoke with told me she could see the referral but since it was from September it was expired and I needed a new one. I called my dr. They said the referral is good for a year, in fact did not need a new one. I asked if they could call them this time. We three way called. They told the facility the referral is good for a year, she stated she would look into it and give me a call back for an appointment. No call back. I called 3 days later. The lady I spoke with then proceeds to tell me, yes she has my referral. But guess what. They have no appointments for 2 weeks out. (Fine I've been waiting this long.) she then tells me since I am close to 9months postpartum on 10/26 that, they wouldnt be able to give me an appointment because I'm too close to a year postpartum, and "after a year it's no longer considered postpartum depression so I'm out of luck." Ok. So at this point I just felt defeated, I asked if she had any other resources at the time and she said she would email me a list. Never got it. Fast forward to Monday December 9th, I get a phone call asking if I would like to make an appointment with them because they received my referral. I explained how irritating this was because I couldn't get in just less than 2 months ago. She then proceeded to tell me she was sorry, she had the wrong patient file up and called the wrong person. At this point I asked for a manager Fast forward to today, still no call back ,I called again this morning , and if I don't get a call back I will personally walk in there to complain in person. If this is the way every new mom is treated at that facility while actively struggling mentally and just trying to make an appointment, I can't imagine the kind of treatment they give. Update: the front desk called me again this morning at 9:32 to let me know the manager told her she would call me back at 12, I said this is very frustrating as I've been waiting on a call back since Monday and I could've just waited until she had the time to call me herself as I really don't want to voice my opinion to someone who may have nothing to do with the situation. She then tells me well I was also calling to ask if you would like an appt . 😂😂😂😂😂”
