“I never imagined I’d be changing my five-star review, but my experience changed. I was receiving therapy here when an insurance/billing issue arose that I did not cause. I repeatedly explained that, due to my autism and selective mutism, I genuinely struggle to navigate situations like this on my own. I wasn’t asking anyone to bend the rules—I was asking for help resolving a problem that was preventing me from continuing my care. Instead of helping me work through the issue, communication gradually stopped, and I ultimately received a termination letter. The experience left me feeling as though I was carrying the consequences of an administrative problem that wasn’t mine to create. What hurt the most wasn’t simply losing therapy—it was feeling abandoned while asking for help. I appreciated my therapist, which makes this outcome even more heartbreaking. I never wanted to leave therapy. I wanted support bridging a situation that my disabilities made especially difficult to manage. If you’re considering this practice, I hope your experience is different than mine. My advice is to pay close attention to how concerns are handled when something goes wrong, because that’s when you learn the most about a healthcare provider. I’d like to add more because they offered me to call them on my other review which tells me they are still missing the point. I appreciate your invitation to discuss my concerns. Unfortunately, your response highlights the primary concern I raised in my original review. I have a documented communication disability, including autism and selective mutism, which makes phone conversations inaccessible when I am overwhelmed. That communication barrier was one of the central reasons I was seeking therapy. Throughout this situation, I repeatedly communicated in writing because writing is my accessible form of communication. Inviting me to resolve these concerns by phone overlooks the disability-related barrier I described. My hope in sharing my experience has never been to criticize individuals. It has been to encourage policies and practices that better accommodate patients with communication disabilities before their care is interrupted or terminated. I sincerely hope my experience contributes to improvements for future patients.”

“This is a genuine warning to anyone seeking mental health care- do NOT go to Tiffany Griffiths. This is not a bitter review just for the sake of it, please learn from my mistake of trusting this place with my mental health care. I had been going there for years, and then when I changed jobs and didn't have health care coverage, I called to cancel my appointment in November. I was charged a no-show fee ($75) for cancelling my appointment, which I believed was wrong, and I explained multiple times to them that I did call to cancel and left a voicemail (which you can never get a person on the phone there so it's the only option). But not wanting to deal with it, I let it go. Then a few months later I get another charge for $37, when I had already declined to even go back to their office to be seen and told them that I would never return. Here it is August and they sent it to collections-- a charge that has no logical explanation, already explaining to them that they had charged me months before and I REFUSE to pay this new charge. Tiffany Griffiths, someone who has multiple homes in multiple locations, clearly does not care about the people she should be serving, she only cares about money. On a side note, i liked the woman I saw there, but she was often tasked with being front desk staff member and treating patients (how can they be expected to do their best for their patients without support?) and clearly being burnt out by the demands of Tiffany Griffiths. Tiffany Griffiths is a greedy and uncaring excuse for a human being- it's ironic that she is supposed to be helping people when she will do things like this. They also have a lot of turn over with staff, another obvious sign of an establishment poorly managed. In the last year especially, rarely could you ever get to speak to a person, and when you did get to, they were not kind or helpful. If you need mental health care, please, go anywhere else but Tiffany's Griffiths. You will only be disappointed and let down by a place like this. I cannot stress enough, GO ANYWHERE ELSE.”

“Amazing clinicians! I started seeing Dr. Griffiths eons ago and have sent many family members and friends there over the years. Every one of them has been very happy with the services. I’m grateful Dr. Griffiths has brought this invaluable service to our community 🙏”

“I had a very bad experience here 4 years ago and had already left a bad review back then, but I thought I would give this practice the benefit of the doubt and try again. I had been going through alot in my life all at once with health issues and other traumas and they had openings and the availability that I was looking for, so I tried the Dunmore practice again. Well it ended in another horrible experience. I started seeing Victoria. From the start she felt very cold and standoffish instead of compassionate and caring. Even condescending at times and she made me feel very uncomfortable and anxious. She would say that it is her job to make me feel uncomfortable. Once we got through the first three or four initial appointments that are just questionnaires and I finally started talking about a lot of the horrible things that I have been going through, she would pick everything apart, and I would feel somewhat attacked and felt I had to try and defend myself or constantly explain and she was always very cold and stone faced. Instead of me being the actual victim in these particular situations, things started to get twisted by her and she started making me feel that I was somehow at fault or making these bad things and situations happen to me or that I was provoking them. She made me feel very small and not heard and was not caring what so ever and I would leave feeling worse than before I got there. At my last appointment with her I ended up being 7 minutes late. I depend on somebody else for a ride because my vehicle was recently stolen and she knew that. I was a nervous wreck and anxious going into the appointment because I knew she would probably say something based off of what I had already dealt with from her at previous appointments, but it ended up being worse than I thought. She went on a 35 minute rant about how me being late was unacceptable and that if I'm late again, she would be dropping me as a patient and that her time is way too valuable as a person, and that I am wasting her time and kept going over the rules of the practice over and over and over again just plain rude. She wasn't quite yelling, but was extremely stern and basically went off on me for the entire length of the appointment. Afterwards, she asked me how I felt about everything that she had just said and I said I felt extremely uncomfortable and anxious, and she said well that's my job and you need to be held accountable and take responsibility for your actions. I fought back tears in front of her, but I cried the entire way home and was extremely anxious for days after this appointment and felt triggered and attacked. Before this appointment, I had already felt that I was being treated in a certain way and it had just gotten worse. I called the office the next morning and tried to explain what had happened and that I felt that it was very unprofessional and could've been handled better and I was basically cut off before I was done explaining and told "just to send her a message that it's not working out and that it happens all the time that people just don't mesh." I explained that I did not even feel comfortable sending the message after how I was treated and that I would rather not have to talk to her again and she said well it's out of our hands. You have to contact her to be switched to somebody else. We can't do anything, so I went onto VSee their messenger app and tried to sound as nice as possible, and sent a message that she makes me feel too uncomfortable and anxious, and that I would like to be switched to somebody else who is actually caring. She responded with that she would try for the next three days only to find somebody and if not my case will be closed and I will be removed from the practice. I saw the next day that I had already been removed from her contacts so that I could not send her a message or follow up and then I received a letter in the mail that my case was closed and I was removed from the practice. I would have liked to be switched to somebody more compassionate, but was instantly shown the door.”
