What patients say on Google

“Making an appointment for initial intake as a new patient is extremely difficult here. I had a phone call with a representative, who then e-mailed me for a follow-up purpose, and never acknowledge that e-mail. It has been over a month after my initial phone call for new patient intake, and no response has been given to my e-mail nor have I received any phone calls. I tried calling multiple times, and was even told I'd get a call back after a certain period in time and never did. It takes multiple attempts to reach anybody there, and they do not return phone calls after voicemails. A new patient receiving any kind of healthcare should not have to go miles to reach an employee at any facility for care, nor should they be told false promises of follow-up with none provided. Thrive has already left a bad reputation without even receiving care yet. I recommend avoiding Thrive as patient's do not seem to be a priority, as per other reviews of being unable to reach anybody to even refill prescriptions.”

“Thrive is very important to the mental wellness in Oak Park and serves many challenging and vital roles. We refer to Thrive and have been impressed with recent improvements and sincere efforts of further integration into the community. Jenni and Sarah have excellent reputations as clinicians and leaders. Appreciate the partnership.”

“Would give one star but the therapist I found here was actually good and I stayed with her for years after she left this place and went out to make her own practice. Overall the customer service is why this place sucked so much for me. It was always a struggle to get refills on depression medication which is not something you can just stop taking for a gap period due to potentially becoming suicidal, etc. I also recall a time when I was 10 minutes late to an appointment (drove over an hour from the north side of the city during rush hour and attempted calling several times to let them know). When I arrived I was greeted with coldness and no understanding. I also needed to have that appointment in order to get a refill. They told me I had to reschedule as I was past the window for making the appt. When I got irritated with them and raised my voice slightly, they threatened to call the cops if I didn’t leave; mind you, at the time I was a non-threatening, crying, 5 foot tall, 23 year old girl. Do better with customer service when you work in mental healthcare. These are real lives you impact with your heartlessness and ignorance. Just Do Better.”
