“My first appointment with Dr. Thirtala today. She took the time to get to know me, my situation, and symptoms. She has a very good energy and light on her, really cares. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of behavioral health services.”

“Listening skills and compassion are lacking. For someone who is genuinely struggling and trying to get help, I felt as though I was being interrogated during my visit rather than cared for by a physician. Additionally, she set me up with the complete wrong therapist/therapy I’m seeking (after we had a discussion about what would be most suitable for me). Definite room for improvement on her part.”

“She is just awful. Not sure why others have a high rating, they are probably friends. She doesn’t respond to messages, medications take forever to be called in even when you submit your request a week or more prior. My son was out of his medication for three weeks. She never once answered any of our messages and It took them forever to send a prior authorization when it does not take that long. Thankfully, my son is not on any kind of antipsychotic medication or have a serious mental health issue. Some people need that to function in their daily lives and that could’ve been really bad for somebody who would’ve been off of their medication for that extended period of a time, just look at the world. Office staff takes forever to review messages. I have submitted a complaint to the board on her negligence as a Dr and we have switched. She takes on too many patients and doesn’t know what you are on, or why. Avoid her at all cost. Probably the company as well.”

“Excellent psychiatrist who really listens. Works with me to come up with the protocol that's best for me and for what I need. I appreciate someone who works with my situation instead of just throwing drugs at me. Having said that, they do work with me on my medication needs.”
