“He overprescribed me antipsychotics for a misdiagnosis of bipolar. Entirely lacking in empathy and seeing me as manic and needing to be institutionalized (sadism, I believe). The overprescription induced an artificial depression worse than I had ever had in my life (which had been few, despite his conviction as to my having bipolar; I would later go to Dr. Thomas McCormack, whom I would highly recommend for anyone wanting a human psychiatrist, at Athens Behavioral Medicine and was cleared of my idiotic misdiagnosis). Easily the worst and most tragic experience of my lifetime. He should be removed of his license.”

He spends time with his patients, and is amazing at getting you to the right treatment plan for your situation. He is the only Dr. I or my practice will refer, and he is not just a resource to my clients he is also my personal psychiatrist and has helped me with my OCD issues, the loss of my partner, and has been phenomenal with getting me to the right medications that allow me to live my best life. “I’m not one to write reviews but MAN… Dr. B is incredible. I was very hesitant to go the psychiatry route after years of battling depression and crippling anxiety. I’ve tried medications in the past and dealt with doctors who didn’t listen or overlooked my concerns. I’ve been under Dr. B’s care for a month now and I feel like a completely different person. First appointment was long but he listened to every issue and continued to dive deeper into what I was dealing with, and prescribed a magical concoction of medication that has significantly improved my quality of life. I wish I had gone sooner. He is compassionate, easy to talk to, a great listener, and is incredibly knowledgeable. I’m thankful to my best friend to gave me the recommendation.
