How likely are you to recommend The Neuropsychiatric Clinic?
What patients say on Google
“Dr. Porter, is the most down to earth, compassionate, caring, understanding, honest, approachable, provider I have ever met. He is not one that cares about pushing numbers or pushing certain medication. He actually cares about you as a person and your overall well-being. It is obvious you’re more than a chart number and income source. His presence has a way of making even the worst days seem not so bad. He carries himself in a very uplifting, loving, family type way he truly cares, and that is blatantly obvious I could go on and on all day about all of his wonderful qualities, but I will leave it at this, I can guarantee you calling Dr. Porter and getting your mental health in check will not be a mistake. You will not regret it. He will be there for you every step of the way.”
“Everyone is so accommodating. I feel fortunate that I found them. M. Lopez is kind, thoughtful and empathetic. She is extremely easy to talk to. I highly recommend The clinic Thank you.”
“Amazing doctors and staff!!! I can’t say enough great things about them. Always willing to help. Always a phone call away if I need them. They are a big reason why my son is becoming a strong, independent man. They have helped him learn how to cope with the hand he was dealt and see it as a blessing and not a problem.”
“I had the absolute WORST time trying to fill out the paperwork via the app they use for new patient intake. First, it was Klara, which kept kicking me out, then it was Weave, which needed some type of code to get into but had to be set up first via the front desk staff. I called 3 weeks ago to get an appointment and the woman I spoke to seemed preoccupied. She said that she was going to send over an email to confirm the appointment along with other documents. NEVER got the email. I called back again an hour later. Spoke with a different lady and she didn't have my name correct nor my phone number correct OR my date of birth correct (which is why I couldn't get into the Klara app to start the intake paperwork). I had to call back at least FOUR times in one day to get the appointment set up. So then I begin to do the paperwork. I get to the medical history part which is lengthy to say the least, I'm half way through it, the app kicks me out and I have to start over completely. I did that AT LEAST 3 times until I sent a message via the app and told them look I can't keep starting over. I was then sent several reminders via the Klara app over the next day and a half to complete the paperwork. I kept telling them look the app keeps kicking me out. So another woman named Amy emails the medical history forms to me. I fill them out and send it back along with my insurance and ID. She gets them. I then get ANOTHER reminder about the appointment which was set for early Dec. Then on that date, I get another message saying I had to reschedule because they didn't have all of my paperwork completed! The new appointment was set for another 2 1/2 weeks out. I was livid because the communication was TRASH. The doctor ended up texting me himself to sort out the issues and had me to use the Weave app instead. Well, I had issues there too! I kept telling all of the front office people that all of my information had already been sent over. So then here we are today, my appointment was for 10am. The sound was low and the rep who answered on the telehealth software was flat and emotionless. I had an issue with my debit card not going through due to a check not posting right then and there, but I assured her there shouldn't be any issues before the end of the appointment, and that I'd been waiting weeks to be seen. Well, she flatly said, "we are gonna have to reschedule you....blah blah". I was pissed again because I've had so many issues trying to get to this point only for this to be the result. You would think there would be some type of leniency or understanding seeing as though I would have been a new patient. I didn't even mention everything that happened over the course of 3 weeks trying to get this appointment because I literally would have to type a MEMOIR of everything that was trash. I literally hung up and said forget it, let me go and write this review. They do not communicate well amongst themselves regarding patient paperwork apparently, and the empathy factor is non existent. 0/10 Do not recommend.”
