What patients say on Google

“Dina is by far my favorite provider. She is actually the psych that our friend group uses because we have all had consistently great experiences with her. I have never felt more comfortable, listened to and actually been an active participant of my care plan before working with her. Plus her staff is amazing, so responsive and kind. Major shoutout to Melissa at the front desk.”

“Everyone was very professional and kind, which was pleasant, but not exactly what I invested time and money for. TMS straight up did not work for me. That’s ok, as an 80%-ish success rate means some people fall into the unlucky 20%, yay for me. They said it could take up to 6 months after all the zapping, so I diligently attended sessions and waited. No improvement. The woman who did my daily zapping sessions seemed confident and competent. I did an intake and follow-up session with Dina. Up front, I shared my grief that depression interfered with my creative passions of writing and dance, and I was wholly unable to do them. When I had a follow-up session roughly halfway through the process, she noted that my excessive sleep seemed improved. I pointed out that I was getting up in the morning to go to TMS 5 days a week becore work, and still sleeping excessively on the weekends. She suggested I get blood tests at my GP so she could review them for potential vitamin D deficiencies and such… which I could just review with my GP and has nothing to do with TMS. She then smiled kindly and suggested that I try dancing because she knows I like it. That was profoundly disappointing. And every week, I had to take the same assessments, which just reinforced my bleak mood as I saw no change week after week. So if you’re in the percentage of people TMS works for, you could do worse than this practice. For me, it was the biggest waste of time and money since my pandemic boyfriend. UPDATE: The TMS tech, Veronica, emailed me to follow up on this review. She expressed sadness to hear TMS didn’t yield results for me, and asked if I wanted to come back in. While I appreciate the effort toward customer service and follow-up, it’s a bit tone-deaf. Their practice offers TMS and medication. TMS didn’t work, so more TMS doesn’t make sense. I already have a medication prescriber, and after Dina’s colossal empathetic error, I’m not meeting with her again, nor am I optimistic about others at the practice. So, again, they meant well, but were ineffective.”

“I get cancellation fees but $200 is ridiculous. The appointments don’t even cost that much. I have health issues and couldn’t make it to a psychiatrist I don’t even find helpful. Would not recommend this office.”
