“A family member has been going to Carter Clinic Wilmington NC for approximately a year post an inpatient stay. First I have to shout out the AMAZING office manager, Ayana Smith, that normally works out of the Whiteville and Elizabethtown offices. She recently helped MULTIPLE times getting a work paper completed and redone 3 times to satisfy an employer. Pleasant, caring, determined and driven are just a few words describing her! Thank you Ayana for going above and beyond even if that meant longer days in order to get things straight! Also. Dujuana (who has gotten things taken care of multiple times throughput this and many other times) and Heather who spoke to me NUMEROUS times and was so patient and helpfull! All y’all are priceless and I truly hope the physicians appreciate all of you!! The physicians, Ty to Dr. Tiffany for everything with the paperwork and the care of my loved one! Dr. Tifffany truly hears her patients and is so caring and knowledgeable! If you want great physicians and EXCELLENT support staff, Carter Clinic is your place!!”
“I have been seeing Dr. Gerry since he first opened in the Leland office. I even briefly stop going because of personal issues and years later came back and they still walk on me with open arms like I had never left. He is by far the best doctor I've ever had & his staff is also wonderful. Every time I had something go wrong I could call up to the front desk and they would go out of their way to fix my problem. So for those of you that maybe had a negative experience you probably didn't have the exact same receptionist and or the exact same staff that I've always had because they're all absolutely amazing!!! I will always have Carter Clinic, Dr. Gerry and the staff's back. Keep up the good work Carter Clinic and don't worry about the few haters that are on here!!! SOBRIETY IS WORTH EVERY STEP BIG AND SMALL GOOD AND BAD HARD AND EVEN HARDER DON'T GIVE UP YOUR WORTH IT 🙏🏼🫶🏼❤️”
“Latasha from the lumberton office was a great help. I was having trouble getting responses for 3 days. I spoke with her & the problem was resolved in less then an hour. Thank you, so much!!!”
“I’d first like to say the receptionist was absolutely lovely and very welcoming! She was genuinely the only part of my visit I enjoyed. The Dr, however, not so much. I had an appointment at 8:40 this morning, which I arrived 5 minutes early for and the Dr I was supposed to see arrived at about 8:53. She walked in and ignored me even though I was the only person in the waiting room and obviously her patient. Oh well, maybe she’s just distracted or something happened to make her so late. I’m called back at around 8:57 (so my appointment is now 17 minutes behind schedule). We sit down and she starts asking me questions I had already answered several times over on the intake forms. When I asked about this she said she was new and wasn’t sure how the platform worked. Keep in mind, I had filled the forms out four days prior so she had PLENTY of time to actually read over my information (which she said she did this morning, but still didn’t seem to have most of it. Maybe that’s why she was late). She then proceeds to ask questions about my medical history and starts talking to me and giving advice for prescriptions I’m already taking that have NOTHING to do with why I’m there. Even recommended I stay on a weight loss drug long-term. Not only was this incredibly unprofessional, but very rude and not relevant to the appointment. She then proceeds to ask a ton of very sensitive questions with no tact, and after that, starts basically diagnosing me with generalized anxiety disorder and ptsd. She asked me maybe 10 questions, there is NO way you’re able to accurately discern what my psychological issues are after talking with me for 15 minutes. She then starts explaining to me the basics of my trauma and bringing up very sensitive, personal things like she’s an expert on my experience. Overall, this doctor was very unprofessional. Maybe others at the clinic are better, but she completely fumbled the situation and I honestly think you should reconsider hiring her.”
