What patients say on Google

“I was checked in here in February 2024. Some of the staff were nice, but I came in with $180 in cash and it was all stolen from me. They even recorded that it was missing and I followed up multiple times. I never got my money back and it still bothers me that I was taken advantage of when I was at my most vulnerable. If you are going to the ER, transferred via ambulance, or just checking in, try not to have any valuables on your person because they will take it and not give it back.”

“If I could give it a zero I would. I got discharged tonight early due to having a panic attack and feeling unsafe. 7/18/25 A male patient was able to sneak into another female patient room around 2:05 am. Dunked underneath the nurses station and was able to come in to her room . Then He proceeded to sexually assaulted her. The nurses lied to us about what was going. No real protection from him. Me and another female patient had both our SO calling the nurses station to figure out what their plan was for our safety. LIED to our husbands saying he’s locked away in his room. In fact was watching tv as nothing happened. FEW of the nurses warned us to stay away from him. As if we’re the ones who did something wrong. They have a nurse following him around. But before I left I noticed he was able to leave his room again with no nurse in sight. This place is not safe. Do BETTER”

“The staff were good in 2023, but DO NOT GO HERE. It is secretly listed as a "RESIDENTIAL FACILITY" with the Virginia court system, and you will lose all kinds of rights and privileges, and Sentara will not do anything to assist at all with clearing this error up.”
