How likely are you to recommend Texas Psychiatry?
What patients say on Google
“I’ve struggled with mental health all my life, starting at a young age. Over the years, I’ve seen many doctors and tried a lot of different medications. Unfortunately, I didn’t have good experiences, to the point where I became very hesitant to try another doctor or risk being put on the wrong medication again. My wife came across Dr. Rashid’s name and scheduled an appointment for me. From the very first phone call, I was greeted with a warm, upbeat, and genuinely friendly voice. It didn’t take long to realize that she is incredibly compassionate and truly cares about her patients—and people in general. Dr. Rashid is, at her core, just a really good human being. She goes the extra mile to understand you and your situation. She doesn’t just throw the latest “buzzword” medication at you—she takes the time to do the research and make thoughtful decisions to put you on the best path forward. And you can tell that helping people is where she finds her reward. That’s rare these days. When you go in for an appointment, be ready—she’s going to talk with you, really talk with you. She may have you go through different types of assessments, all so she can understand the person behind whatever walls you may have built. And she will find the real you. In the end, if you let her, she will help you help yourself. After many years, she finally got me on the right track and the right medication. When I first came to her, I was probably a 3 or 4 out of 10. Today, I stay at a steady 8, 9, or even a 10. Like my dad always says, “I’m not here to blow smoke up your south side,” so I hope you take this for what it is—honest truth. I’m grateful I was willing to give her a chance. If you do the same, I believe you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about. She’s a wonderful doctor. Her staff is wonderful. You’ll be in great hands. I highly recommend Dr. Rashid to anyone who’s struggling. — Mike Flippin”
“Dr. Rasheed is absolutely. AMAZING!!! I’m so grateful that someone mentioned her to me! And Amber Foster, her clinic director, is absolutely wonderful as well. I have endometriosis & PCOS which caused me to gain and retain weight beyond belief, as well as other conditions I wanted to discuss with her. After our first meeting, she was already getting me started on a treatment plan, including Trizepetide/Mounjaro, which my other doctors were also in support of given my history. During the first few months, I had severe nausea and sickness with my dosages, but once I learned more about the medication and ways to eat better and take it, (+ Dr. Rasheed’s help, of course). Starting in November, by January I immediately started seeing effects, -25lbs already! And after a year, I was down 80 and at the goal weight I had set with Dr. Rasheed!!!! I feel like I blinked and it happened! I am finally at a weight I never thought was possible before, and my endometriosis/PCOS chronic pain went from having horrible, daily flare ups + unpredictable heavy period to now being shocked when I do get cramps, and the fact that they’re pretty much just right before my cycle (which is regular and so light for the first time since it began. crazy.). I don’t even feel like the same person!! I am currently studying as a pre-med and I truly hope that I can help people and be as involved as Dr. Rasheed. Her and her team are like no other!”
“Dr Rasheed is one of the most wonderful and kind doctors I have ever met! She took time to hear listen to my issues and has been extremely compassionate and patient with me. SO glad I found her she literally changed my life. I totally recommend her for anyone looking for a caring psychiatrist who actually listens!”
“I have been working with Dr. Rasheed for 6 months and she is kind and compassionate. She takes a lot of interest in me and delves deep into the real issues at hand. She has helped me to cope with my life and has a lot of knowledge about medications. I can see she is passionate about her work and loves what she does. She is a great teacher and mentor! Thank you Dr. Rasheed for always taking the extra time I needed to get better. You have changed my life and I finally Feel that I am living my best life!”
