How likely are you to recommend TEAMCare Behavioral Health?
What patients say on Google
“I never had any issues until today, but I only recently got my kids in here for an intake. Psychiatry was quick to get into, but for one of my children, psychology evaluation was the only recommendation and those appointments are usually scheduled far out in advance. Somehow when I went to schedule for one of my children, they had a cancellation for the end of February so, of course, I took it. However, due to the weather, the psychologist moved all of her appointments from today, to tomorrow. As a working, single mom, I couldn't just rearrange my schedule at the last minute, as my client visits have been scheduled for weeks. So I had to call TeamCare and reschedule. The secretary that answered, Nicole, was very rude, unapologetic, and unempathetic to my work schedule. Now, after waiting so long, we have to wait several more months. She also rudely explained that cancellations for these appointments are rare when I requested to be on the cancellation call list to get my child in sooner. Honestly, I wish this wasn’t the only place taking new clients because I would much prefer to get my children into a place with caring staff that know how to empathize, seeing as how this is supposed to be a behavioral health practice. It’s truly unfortunate.”
“Absolutely terrible! I brought my very young child to see a psychiatrist and the doctor made my child cry, talked down to her, showed zero empathy, and zero bedside manners. Didn't look at notes as to why we were referred and gave us the same medication that has not worked. I will never come back, EVER! How dare you make my very young child cry when we are there asking for help. My child saw was Dr Eugenia Abonyi, she should NOT be seeing kids.”
“This place is unprofessional and they don't handle things or call you back when you have a problem or concern. I left messages for the supervisor Nicole who is extremely rude and disrespectful as well as Jen and neither one of them contacted me back. They just abruptly let my daughter go because her doctor was leaving to go to Lancaster. We needed paperwork completed and never got it back they told us that they couldn't find it. I wouldn't send any of my relatives here for treatment. People are already dealing with their mental health and to have to deal with staff that really don't care for real about the people it just must be about getting a paycheck.”
“Had an awful experience with the physicians assistant Christina Karl, PA-C approximately a year ago. She completely dismissed something that my therapist directly told me (a potential diagnosis made over the span of months) that would heavily inform the treatment and medication I could've been given by Christina. Christina told me very hastily that I could have a completely different, unrelated disorder with 0 evaluation and 0 actual assessment or questions asked - seemingly to get me to stop advocating for myself and what my THERAPIST had told me I should be evaluated for and medicated for. She ignored every single call my therapist made to her after this appointment and refused to help me. Horrific experience, left the office sobbing and feeling helpless. Every other therapist I've seen since has had bad experiences with TEAMcare as a whole. Truly hope this place is shut down for the sake of their patients.”
