“I felt that Dr. Eyma did not care about me as a person beyond serving as a patient for billing, which was an awful feeling when you are seeking treatment for your mental health. Dr. Eyma spends much time looking at another monitor as she types. She does not break from using an impassive voice and expression or make any human comments, when I answered her questions. She answered questions with frustrating long non-answers. Overall, I felt that she didn’t engage with me as a human or fully listen to my care needs and concerns and that this led to a lower standard of care. I came to not have confidence or trust in the patient-doctor relationship.”
