What patients say on Google
“I had a family member admitted at the end of June. When I called to check in on this family member I had TWO nurses take my number and tell me they would give the patient the information so they could call at their own discretion. I called 24 hours in and a nurse told me “ If you left your number and he/she did not call, they don’t want to talk to you.” 36 hours went by no word. 48 hours later the social worker reached out. She had been searching for my number and finally found me on a social media platform. My family member couldn’t remember my number and NEVER received my previous messages. The social worker is literally the only reason this place deserves a one star. Her efforts were the only positive thing from my experience with the staff. My family member said that she heard a patient and an RN get into an argument and the RN told the patient to quit or she would “hold their meds.” When my family member asked for something else to eat because he/she didn’t like the main protein portion, they said “That’s a hard no. Absolutely not.” When my family member asked when the doctor would be in (it was early morning) they laughed at him/her. I think the reason this place doesn’t have a lower score is because of the stigma around mental health and the patients don’t feel like they can leave a review while respecting their own privacy. It would be much lower if the patients spoke out against them. Do not trust your family with these people. The nurses were so rude and entitled to the patients. I could write on and on from the horrible stories I’ve heard.”
“Staff was nice for the most part but it felt like if you weren’t doing the group activity’s they didn’t care about you. I signed myself in for my anxiety and had to sign myself out 1 day later due to my anxiety getting so much worse and had to wait 24 hours until I could actually leave. Didn’t get my toiletries and the cup for the urine sample until I brought it up the next day. The communication between the staff sucked. I was told one thing and then another staff member would tell me a different thing. On the day I was leaving a lady from billing came to talk to me and told me patients usually stay for around 7 days and that’s what I will be getting billed for. I told her I was leaving that day and she said oh I did not know that. I was not given any of my medicine I came in with including my birth control and when I was doing my paperwork to leave I didn’t see any of my medicine on the list of stuff I came in with and one of the lady’s at the nurses station told me I’m glad you said something because we didn’t know you had brought medicine in with you and you probably wouldn’t have gotten those back. I came here with the hope of getting therapy but instead I got traumatized and little to no sleep. I would not recommend this place to anyone who has never been to a mental health facility before, like me. It felt like my limbs were cut off and they were telling me to swim.”

“This is the most inept unprofessional facility I have ever experienced. If I could give it a negative number I would. I have a loved one being treated (Using that term loosely). The receptionists are rude and unhelpful as a supervisor was as well. The patients family members should be treated kindly and with a caring attitude while going thru this trauma. No one walked us thru procedures we might expect. My daughter gave them permission for them to talk to me, BUT failed to have her sign a document. I was not given a patient ID #. Also was given paperwork written in Spanish to release her medical records, We do not read or speak Spanish. It is a horrible facility.”
