How likely are you to recommend STR Cedar Creek?
What patients say on Google
“SDR City Creek was an amazing place that helped me tremendously with my mental health and depression. The staff was always courteous, kind, caring, and willing to go above and beyond for every client. I am incredibly grateful for the support I received and for the progress I made during my time there. I truly feel recovered and would highly recommend SDR City Creek to anyone seeking help and support.”
“My stay at STR cedar creek was an overall amazing stay. I genuinely didn't think anything would come from it but by the end I feel lighter and I feel a lot more positive. West is an AMAZING therapist, an amazing person in general and I'm very grateful for his presence. Anita is one of the bhts and she is incredible and helps everyone she can. Pretty much every BHT and all the therapist are amazing people. I'm so grateful to have them. Thank you everyone at cedar creek. Y'all really made a positive impact on my life ”
“This place truly changed my life for the better. The BHTs the nurses and the therapists were all very helpful and amazing. I loved the structure of groups and the daily schedule. Also the food was very good and enjoyable. Very clean place. The other clients were also very nice and I got along with everyone. Also the property alone was just very beautiful. Thankful that I took this step, it was 100% worth it. If you put in the work and focus on yourself during the program, you should have a great outcome!”
“I had an okay experience here. The BHTs were (for the most part) great! Mary and Anita hold a special place in my heart-I felt like they TRULY got what I was going through and made an effort to help me understand. I didn’t have the best rapport with my therapist and felt that other therapists/BHTs were very helpful. A few 2nd shift BHTs were overly aggressive about groups (ie, karaoke), which was tough, as I wanted more of a true “wind down” group. I’m not saying there isn’t a time nor place for “fun” night groups, but it gets exhausting every night. I will say that while we had a daily check in with nursing, they failed to recognize that I was engaging in dangerous behaviors ($h). I am not saying this to hunt anyone down, but having been to previous facilities, I was surprised. Monique (my doctor) was not helpful. She took me off and/or lowered my medication and I ended up in the psych hospital a month later in full-blown psychosis. I also felt like the food was not great. I left meals hungry and relied on cookies to fulfill this-obviously NOT ideal. I will say that I have a true respect and appreciation for Cam, the program director. He was on the floor and present, which is much more than I’ve seen at other facilities. I do wish I had gone to him with my concerns earlier, as I now realize that he would have addressed them. Overall, this is a decent program, but more like a php than a traditional program. Staff need more training on mental health overall.”
