“The office manager chose to cancel my appointment the night before my appointment as they were unable to reach me by phone. They called me 3x between 5:28pm and 5:33 pm. I didn’t answer because I was just getting my kids home from school. My new patient paperwork had been completed for weeks. I had confirmed via email. I had corresponded with his office no less than 5 times. I could have begged to get another appointment or put on a cancellation list but this is not how I want to start out a new relationship with a healthcare provider and their office. It’s not a good sign for how things will go in the future. It’s just another example of why it is so hard to actually OBTAIN CARE for a mental health condition. Stillpoint psychiatry DO BETTER!”
