How likely are you to recommend Still Waters Professional Counseling?
What patients say on Google
“I had sessions with Cassandra Reidt and my experience was generally just awful. She couldn’t find the time to talk about anything but herself. I couldn’t discuss my issues accurately as well. Also I had issues with the pursuit of women, and I’m sure it’s reassuring to anyone to be told that you’re either a serial killer, rapist, or a sex pest in general and that’s why women don’t want to talk to you. They also do therapy through a puritanical or Calvinist mindset if you aren’t religious, like me. Also if you want to be lectured into being a Republican because you’re therapist is offended that you believe in something this is probably the place for you. I have borderline personality disorder. My greatest strength is reading faces. Trust me on this one.”
“I am looking for some help for both myself and my mother who was recently diagnosed with dementia. When I called Still Waters, they were extremely helpful and professional. The receptionist was friendly and understanding. She really made me feel comfortable in a difficult situation. - Thank you Still Waters for helping me through this!”
“The clinic as a whole is a joke, but specifically the counselors. They’ll sit there and let you talk for 45 minutes straight with no insight into your issues at all. Not trying to help you whatsoever. My boyfriend and I both had terrible experiences here separately. My therapist wouldn’t say anything to me, she looked at me like a deer in headlights the entire time, gave me one sentence at the end of the session and expected me to remember it and think about it the entire following week, just to not even bring it up again at the next appointment. Just nod and smile as I was talking like that’s helpful whatsoever. I’ve had 2 different therapists years apart at this facility and BOTH of them were the exact same way. My boyfriend’s therapist, Cassandra, didn’t help him with any of the things he went there for. When he mentioned that he didn’t feel like some things were being worked on how he would like (and talked longer than 5 minutes for once bc she would never let him get a word in) she asked him if he was “done talking yet” and that she was going to hang up the phone during a session bc she didn’t “like how he was speaking to her”. All he was trying to do was address his concerns regarding how the sessions were going because she always seemed to focus on the less important things at hand no matter what he had mentioned to her. She was being rude, condescending, and didn’t actually take the time to help him whatsoever like they are supposedly in their line of work for. Cassandra is now having her family members/friends write reviews regarding this establishment since my boyfriend wrote his and called her out for it. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.”
“Cassandra Reidt has to be the most unprofessional therapist I’ve ever seen. I voiced my concerns of us not doing work on things that I wanted to work on and in the middle of me talking (the first time I talked longer than 10 seconds because she would talk the entire time, and take up 40 minutes giving “advice” that I’ve told her I’ve already done or say “I don’t know” when I bring up any issue bigger than the most basic problems) she asks me if I’m done talking yet and that all I’m doing is talking. A literal licensed professional basically told me to stop talking and that she was going to hang up because she “didn’t like how I was talking” but I never once got even slightly disrespectful, all I had said was that I didn’t feel like we were talking enough about issues I’d bring up at the beginning of appointments. Instead we would focus other less important issues. While I tried to convey that I didn’t understand how we couldn’t talk about it over the phone (she offers over the phone appointments) she then began escalating the situation and got very angry and hateful almost immediately. I didn’t say anything besides it doesn’t make sense to me how she’s talked with me about a lot of my other problems through the phone but now she says she doesn’t have the qualifications to speak through my problems with me over the phone because she doesn’t like to do phone appointments and that I decided to do these appointments, not her. She previously sat in her notes and patted herself on the back like she helped me in both of my phone call sessions but when I have actual concerns she essentially tells me I’m talking too much and she’s gonna hang up on me. She got hostile as soon as I wanted to dive deeper into my issues then makes me out to be some jerk for no reason. A horrible therapy establishment and the worst therapist and experience I’ve ever had in my life. If you have actual problems I don’t recommend ever going through Cassandra as she clearly needs a therapist of her own and quite frankly should not be in the mental health field whatsoever.”
