What patients say on Google
“I have no idea why people are leaving low reviews with no explanation. I've beeen seeing Dr Krummel for at least 15 years, maybe longer. He's exactly how the other good reviews say. Professional but not uncomfortably so, he's a laid back and approachable person. There's never been a time where I felt like I couldn't talk to him about a medication or really just what I'd be going through at any given time. He's genuinely caring and compassionate. He's nothing like most doctors who even come close to his qualifications. They're always so arrogant and on themselves. Dr Krummel is genuinely himself and doesn't act like a stuck up know-it-all. He really cares a lot about people and he has a good sense of humor too. He doesn't take everything so literally or offensive. I remember calling him my "head shrinker" one day and he put his hand on his forehead and started laughing with me. He's a good guy. The world needs more people like him, especially in the mental health field. He's got to be extremely overloaded with the lack of available psychiatrists but I can't tell by his mannerisms. The fact that he's also a pharmacist is a really important thing. He understands the medications he prescribes far beyond what most prescribers do. This gives me a very secure feeling. If I don't like a certain medicine, he actually listens to me about it and has me fully involved in my own care decisions. This is an example of what every doctor should be. Something is really off about those bad reviews with no content. Don't believe them. (Probably former patients of a "certain other" doctor who happily overprecribed schedule 4 to a lot of people's teens)”
“Not sure why there are bad ratings, but no explanation. I have been seeing Dr Krummel for about 2 years, and he is kind, soft spoken, and very considerate. Was just in his office today, because a med I am taking just isn't working out. We talked about some other ideas, and even in the middle of that, he stated " If you need time to think it over, and ground yourself, we can stick with what we got, so you can decide. We talked about a couple of options, and he stated " Which one do you feel comfortable with" making sure I felt good about the choice, and allowing me to make it for myself. I am VERY sensitive to meds, and he understands that. MOST doctors don't get that. The first time I went to him, I told him "This is embarrassing, but I am afraid to take anything. He stated " There is nothing to be ashamed of, and that is perfectly normal." So my experiences with him have been excellent.”
“To me He’s always shown himself to be very good in his field and I am very comfortable speaking with him honestly and openly. I have been seeing him for years now. He’s very kind mold and treats me with the utmost care and respect.”
“No clue why there are poor reviews on Dr.Krummel. He is hands down the best psychiatrist in WI. I’ve seen numerous in the past 20 years and they aren’t even on the same playing field. He’s kind, articulate and compassionate. He also is a pharmacist. What better combination for someone to be both a psychiatrist and pharmacist to recommend the correct prescriptions and health care plans for treatment.”
