She really put me at ease from the moment we first spoke. I've been having transportation challenges recently, and she was very kind to provide me with citibus day passes. In a nutshell she is FANTASTIC and has great communication skills. My counselor, Laura, was equally delightful!! She really took her time, was empathetic, and did a THOROUGH assessment!! She was very easy to talk to which is extremely important when you walk in feeling so scared, vulnerable, and helpless. Very impressed by the staff. Super appreciative they got me a follow up appt at sunrise ASAP!! Feel very fortunate to have had Toshiba and Laura's help today.”

“Been through several facilities and tons of meds in my life. No place is all good or all bad but that being said, StarCare has been an excellent tool and community in both my life and my wife's. We both have issues with mental illness that requires different levels of care and StarCare handles our issues better than we've had anywhere else. I have a slew of issues that require lots of professional care and while some things may not happen as fast as you WANT, in my experience and if you do your due diligence, everything happens in the time you need. This place has helped me through getting my meds on track and listening to what I needed, gave me an open dialogue to discuss issues in a safe space and has started me on behavioral counseling that is still in the beginnings.
