What patients say on Google

“My nephew was a patient there and he had many terrible experiences with the staff and his mental health doctor. He is now at a hospital in Amarillo and doing so much better. I do not recommend Star Care, not even one star.”
Jack Dupree
“Started out as good place and had a good experience with good Dr's,but with the decision to stop prescribing certain medications has left me with having to find a new provider because my therapist believes I should be on one of these prescriptions. This has caused more than just an inconvenience it has caused my mental health to go down hill.”
Elizabeth Foster
“If you go in right before the weekend you’ll be told to come back on Monday. I’m sorry my mental health crisis didn’t happen before a weekday, but that’s awful to tell someone at the reception desk. I’ll look for another place but to anyone looking for a referral for you or a loved one. This is not optional because only M-F during business hours can you revive care.”
Ashley Johnson
“The decision to stop filling prescription controlled substances without any prior notice is not the right thing to do . I have a family member whom has been on a prescription for anxiety and has been for several years thus assisting with helping this individual being able to work and be productive thus even being able to drive to work . How do you just stop refilling their prescription? The side effects alone will be debilitating along with panic attacks now as well . This person takes their medication as prescribed and I fully trusted your facility. Great progress was made with this individual concerning the care you provided and we were grateful. I truly hope your decision has a solid solution. I am now witnessing a decline in my family member . Prior notice would have helped along with an explanation as to why ! Totally unacceptable.”
