What patients say on Google

“If you're going to go to Stairways, make sure you go to this one if you have the chance. Their State St. location is for their ACT program, which you have to be referred to, and it does not operate the way this clinic does. Becky, the woman who runs this clinic, is a very knowledgeable and understanding woman. There were several times she took the time to personally speak to me regarding issues I was having at the other clinic. I never had issues at this clinic, at least not the kind I had at their other one. The nurse practitioner, Dan, has personal experience with dual diagnosis and he is also very knowledgeable. He is very attentive to the needs of his patients. There is another NP here, Kassie, who also does a pretty good job of listening to her patients. Ultimately, Stairways is not a bad organization. But, if you have the choice, do not go to the 8th St. location and go here instead. You will receive much better treatment.”

“The psychiatrist prescribed me a medication and gave me A titration pack to go up in dosage. While on this sample package, I became very sick, Severely nauseous, Headache, Dizziness, and joint pain. I called in to find out how to stop the medication and see if they would prescribe me an anti-nausea medication they told me NO!!! They said that it would only be in my system for a few days and I should be fine. I told them I had spoke to a pharmacist who specializes in these medications and they had said it can stay in the system for up to 15 days after being on the medication. The nurse told me and I quote, “Well, I spoke with our drug rep Who gives us this medication and he said you should be fine and it should be out of your System within 2-3 Days.” I told her drug reps are not pharmacists nor do they take years of schooling on medication’s. She told me that they only prescribe mental health medication‘s and nothing to help with side effects. I believe this is complete malpractice and neglect on their patients. They are letting their patients suffer unnecessarily. I would never recommend this place to anyone after this. My trust and faith in them to take care of my overall health and well-being is completely gone.”

“I came In as a new patient recently because I was experiencing aggressive, anxiety, anger mood swings. I saw Dr Richman and explained to him how I was feeling. Wouldn't you believe it he prescribes me wellbutrin, side effects are irration, aggression, anger. Now I'm sitting here feeling 10x worse, lost a day of work can't get ahold of anyone. " Did this doctor even hear a word I said"? I highly recommend staying away from Dr Richman thank God for the pharmist at genco that warned me about the side effects and advised me to stop immediately.”

“This place will kill you. They know that they have a provider who is over prescribing and they don't care. Said provider is also confused and mixed up my medicine causing me a fainting spell and a hospital visit. I was on 8 meds and had to wean myself off 4. Doing much better now. Do yourself a favor and stay away. Deserves negative stars but Google won't allow that.”
